Welcome to the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop, where today’s theme is “It’s a Girl Thing!” I’ve made a fun shaker card staring the lovely mermaid from Magical Day.
Sparkles & mermaids. I think that qualifies as “girlie”. Love these colors!! This will be one of my cards in the April Card Layouts Class. In this popular class, we’ll make 3 different cards using 1 layout. If you make your own card at home & post it on our group FB page, you’ll be entered in that month’s drawing for a prize! Here’s the dates if you’d like to join us (3 dates- same projects):
Saturday, April 21 (11am – 1pm)
Sunday, April 22 (11am – 1pm)
Monday, April 23 (noon – 2pm)
Contact me if you’d like to participate but can’t attend class & we’ll work it out.
Are you wondering where I got those “bubbles”? Those are the little Silica Beads that were in all the albums I purchased for the Card Layout Class participants! I know you’ve thrown out tons of those… now you’ll have to save them for your Shaker Cards!
Today at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration we’ll be showing you some 2nd release Sale-a-Bration items! Stampin’ Up! just released more FREE items with every $50 you spend!! I’ll be showing you a card made with Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, which was a 2nd release Sale-a-Bration item! This paper is so pretty as is, but I wanted to try adding a little color to it using my brayer.
I was trying to come up with an ombre look. This was really simple- just brayed it (is that a word?) with Marina Mist, Island Indigo, & then Night of Navy.
I’m excited to be a part of Kylie’s International Blog Highlight today, where you’ll be seeing lots of favorites from the Occasions & Sale-a-Bration Catalogs!
Today I’m showing you another Shaker Card! The fun papers in Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper are so festive & are perfect with a little confetti added!
Here’s a better picture showing you this fun paper:
The artist easel is from Painter’s Palette. That’s been stuck away in my closet for too long! Such a cute set!
Here’s another Shaker Card. Which one do you like best? I like the candle one, except that you have to “fussy cut” it. I don’t have a lot of patience for that.
I would love if you could take the time to vote for my card at Kylie Bertucci’s host page for this blog highlight. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please vote for my project (#6)! To vote, click on the button below, go to the gallery, then hover over the picture of the card until the little heart turns red. You can vote by clicking on the icon below:
VOTE FOR ME… #14, WHO FORGOT TO PUT HER NAME…
If you live in the US and don’t already have a demonstrator I would love to become yours! And if you need a copy of the Occasions Catalog, email me at email@example.com.
Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for February 2018. This month our theme is Lions, Tigers & Bears, Oh My! Cards Featuring Animals! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog –Cheryl Hamilton @ www.createwithcheryl.me or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
Today’s blog hop is all about animals! My Bella & Friends stamp set has gotten a lot of use, but I haven’t used Pretty Kitty until today. Here I go…
Stamped the kitty on Shimmer Paper using Memento Ink and then colored it in using Stampin’ Markers. I chose the colors based on this weeks challenge from Global Design Project #GDP125.
Don’t you just love that “amazing” cutout?! You can get Celebrate You Thinlits FREE with any $100 order now until the end of March during Sale-a-Bration.
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are on my blog – Cheryl Hamilton @ Create With Cheryl, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next on the list.
Aloha & welcome to another Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop. I’m so excited to be a part of this group of hard working & talented demonstrators who have all earned the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Alaska!! Follow along the hop and you’re sure to find many wonderful & creative new ideas!
The star of my blog post today is this charming little bird from Bird Banter! The birds in this set all have different personalities. Just love them! Found the idea for this card on Pinterest, made by Carolynn Saunder. And this was perfect for my Stampin’ Blends class! We had fun coloring those birds.
Here’s the details to make my card:
Stamps: Bird Banter
Ink: Momento, Real Red & Night of
Paper: Thick Whisper White(5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4), Real Red (5 3/8 x 4 1/8), Night of Navy (5 1/4 x 2), Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper -FREE Sale-a-Bration item! (5 1/4 X 2), Real Red & Whisper White scraps
Accessories: Night of Navy 1/2″ Gingham Ribbon, Enamel Shapes, Layering Ovals Thinlits Dies, Petal Burst Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Blends
Tips: Cut the scallop circle out of the Real Red background! They’ll never know…
One more reason I love this stamp set…
I try so hard to be organized, but I’m always running behind!! So this is perfect for all those late birthday cards.
Be sure & continue on the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop, where you’ll find lots of great ideas!
Say hello to a world of colorful creativity with Stampin’ Up!s premier alcohol markers, Stampin’ Blends! These high quality, dual-tip markers come in 12 exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, each with a light and dark shade. Not an artist? You are now! These markers make it so easy to blend colors and create lovely works of art. There’s something so relaxing and fun about coloring! I’m offering a Stampin’ Blends Club that I posted about HERE. Let me know if you’re interested!
Stamps: Amazing You (Sale-a-Bration FREE set), Cake Soiree
Ink: Momento & Always Artichoke
Paper: Thick Whisper White Base (8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4), Always Artichoke (4 1/8 X 5 3/8), Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP (3 X 3 7/8), Whisper White (2 X 3 7/8), Calypso Coral
Look at the 2 cards. Do you see anything different? I stamped the 2nd one with Always Artichoke, instead of Momento Ink! And I think it looks great! They recommend Momento, but I’m excited to experiment with other inks!
Which one do you like best? Momento or Always Artichoke? I can’t decide…
Let me know if you’d like to join the Stampin’ Blends Club! I have one you can do my mail, and I’ll send you all the supplies & directions. We’ll be making this card on Monday, Jan 22nd in Kahului after work, so maybe you can join us!
Be sure & check out the SSINK Page where you’ll find more ideas for using Stampin’ Blends! Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve had several requests to see the projects we’ll be making this Sunday at my New Catalog Launch Party. It was hard to narrow it down- there are so many new things I just LOVE!! But I’ll show you the three cards we’ll be making here:
This gorgeous set is a FREE SALE-A-BRATION set! Just love it! The sparkly ribbon is from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog also. I found the idea for this on Facebook and can’t figure out who to credit it to! If you know the original creator, please comment so that I can give her (or him) proper credit!
This was a Make & Take we did at On Stage in November.
You’ll get a chance to try out the Stampin’ Write Markers vs. the new Stampin’ Blends.
I know!!! This paper is so cute!! The card base & envelopes are also a FREE Sale-a-Bration item.
And there’s more… I want to clarify that this isn’t the usual Open House where you come & go. This is a Party/Class where you’ll pay $15 to make 4-5 projects, demonstrations & displays & lots of door prizes! Fun! So be sure you arrive at 12 noon so you have time to make everything! Please RSVP!
