I want to show you the projects we’ll be making in the February Cards, Etc. Classes.

Quite a variety!  A Masculine Card, Sympathy, All Occasion, and a gorgeous new box that I want you to try out.

The box is called Window Box and it’s the size of a large cupcake.  So pretty!!  There are so many ways you can embellish it and I’ll let you decide how you want to decorate it.  You’ll have different colors to choose from and a variety of ribbon.

There are 2 dates to choose from:

Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 pm or

Monday, Feb. 27, at 10 am

Cost is just $10 or FREE with your $20 order.

RSVP soon to hold your spot in class!

Favorite Embellishments!

I was so excited when I saw the Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog!  I ordered it right away, but wasn’t sure what to do with it!

Today the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration team is featuring Friday Favorites:  Occasions Accessories!  I pulled out my Embellishment Kit & this is what I came up with:

I just love it!!  The tassels!!  The little bows!!

Here’s the ingredients:

  • Baker’s Box Thinlits Dies
  • Craft Paper
  • Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Stack
  • Carousel Birthday Stamp Set
  • Cupcakes & Carousels Embellishment Kit
  • Layering Ovals Framelits Dies
  • Calypso Coral Marker
  • Sprinkles Embellishments

Don’t forget…it’s Sale-A-Bration Time!!  Woohoo!  Get something FREE with every $50 you spend!

The Baker’s Box is the perfect size for a stack of cookies or a cupcake or handful of chocolate (my favorite!)

I just love this sentiment & think I’ll use it a lot!  It’s meant to be used on the inside of a card, I think, because it actually starts with the word “because”.  First I inked up my stamp & tried to erase it using a blender pen.  I still saw a shadow when I stamped it, so I had better luck just inking the stamp using my marker.

Hope you are inspired to get some of those Embellishments!  They’re so much fun to work with!

Be sure and check out what the other gals on the SSINK Design Team have created!  You’re sure to get some great ideas!!

3-D Projects are My Favorite!

Today’s post at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration is all about 3-D!!  Cards are wonderful, but I especially love creating 3-D items!

img_4508

I started with 3 items that I gave to my downline, The Maui Big Shots!, for their September challenge:  Halloween Night Specialty DSP, Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper, and orange sequins left over from My Paper Pumpkin.  Everyone is supposed to create something using these items (& whatever else they want to add).  Here’s what I came up with:

bakers-box-create-with-cheryl

A Baker’s Box!  I plan to fill this with something very special for my newest recruit, Helen!  She’s just the sweetest person and enthusiastic & full of ideas!  You’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to see what the others did for this challenge.

In the meantime, be sure & take a look at what the SSINK Team has come up with!  I’m always inspired by their creativity!

Favorite Holiday Bundle!

You’re in for a treat today!  The Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team Members are focusing on their favorite bundles from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.

The first thing I knew I was ordering was the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set & Cookie Cutter Builder Punch Bundle!  This set comes with Santa, a bear, an Eskimo, Gingerbread Man & a Reindeer…and all can be punched out with one punch!  Love it!!

Createwithcheryl Gingerbread 2

Details:

  • Stamps:  Cookie Cutter Christmas, Oh What Fun
  • Inks:  Crumb Cake & Early Espresso
  • Paper:  Crumb Cake Base (5 1/2 X 11, score at 4 1/4), Real Red (5 3/8 X 2 3/4), Candy Cane Lane DSP (5 3/8 X 2 1/2)
  • Details:  Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Mini Jingle Bells, Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine, Layering Ovals Framelits Dies

After seeing how cute this came out, I decided to decorate a box to go along with it.  To be filled with goodies!  I found these White Gift Boxes (3 X 3 X 3) in the Holiday Catalog that are sturdy & food safe & they have an acetate sleeve that slides on!  That is so cool because you can make these ahead of time & fill them later on when you’re done baking.

Embellishments Holder for the SSINKspriation Friday Favorites!

Createwithcheryl Embellishment Holder

Here’s another fun project we made in club this month- a pretty holder for your pearls, rhinestones, & dimensionals!  I found directions from a YouTube video from annshappystampers.

For the SSINK post today, we were supposed to choose our favorite accessories.  I couldn’t choose just one favorite, so I chose two!

Metal Rimmed Pearls Metal Rimmed Pearls  Price $5.00  138394

Gold Metallic ThreadGold Metallic Thread  Price $3.00  138401

I think they add so much to the project!!  Hope you get some ideas and get your stamps out this weekend!

Be sure & go over to Stylin’ Stampin INKspiration to see what their favorites are!

Baker’s Box for Easter

This club’s projects will all center around Easter!

Lamb Baker's Box Createwithcheryl.me

This cute little box (idea is from Mickey Roberts) is simple to make using the Baker’s Box Thinlits.  The size is perfect to hold a handful of Easter treats (it’s a bit smaller than a cupcake).  And don’t you love that lamb?!   I colored him in with my Blender Pen using ink pressed to the lid of the ink pad cover.  I actually separated the “happy easter” from the lamb to make it easier to use for baby cards.  I’ll show you how to do this at Club.

March Club will be Saturday, March 12 at 2 pm at my house in Haiku or Sunday, March 13 at 1 pm in Pukalani.  Guests are always welcome & just need to place a $25 order or pay $10.

Here’s another project I just love:

Work of Art Easter Egg Createwithcheryl.me

This pretty egg is decorated using Work of Art!  My favorite thing is the sentiment embossed using Melon Mambo Embossing Powder!  You can’t see it, but the Daffodil Delight stripes are sparkling with Wink of Stella!

Hope you can join us this month!

Creative Escape Weekend!

It’s been 2 weeks since I returned from a wonderful weekend spent with some dear stampin’ friends on Oahu.  What a fun, relaxing time I had with all of you!  I’ll share some pictures…
