I want to show you the projects we’ll be making in the February Cards, Etc. Classes.
Quite a variety! A Masculine Card, Sympathy, All Occasion, and a gorgeous new box that I want you to try out.
The box is called Window Box and it’s the size of a large cupcake. So pretty!! There are so many ways you can embellish it and I’ll let you decide how you want to decorate it. You’ll have different colors to choose from and a variety of ribbon.
The Baker’s Box is the perfect size for a stack of cookies or a cupcake or handful of chocolate (my favorite!)
I just love this sentiment & think I’ll use it a lot! It’s meant to be used on the inside of a card, I think, because it actually starts with the word “because”. First I inked up my stamp & tried to erase it using a blender pen. I still saw a shadow when I stamped it, so I had better luck just inking the stamp using my marker.
Hope you are inspired to get some of those Embellishments! They’re so much fun to work with!
Be sure and check out what the other gals on the SSINK Design Team have created! You’re sure to get some great ideas!!
Today’s post at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration is all about 3-D!! Cards are wonderful, but I especially love creating 3-D items!
I started with 3 items that I gave to my downline, The Maui Big Shots!, for their September challenge: Halloween Night Specialty DSP, Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper, and orange sequins left over from My Paper Pumpkin. Everyone is supposed to create something using these items (& whatever else they want to add). Here’s what I came up with:
A Baker’s Box! I plan to fill this with something very special for my newest recruit, Helen! She’s just the sweetest person and enthusiastic & full of ideas! You’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to see what the others did for this challenge.
In the meantime, be sure & take a look at what the SSINK Team has come up with! I’m always inspired by their creativity!
You’re in for a treat today! The Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team Members are focusing on their favorite bundles from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.
The first thing I knew I was ordering was the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set & Cookie Cutter Builder Punch Bundle! This set comes with Santa, a bear, an Eskimo, Gingerbread Man & a Reindeer…and all can be punched out with one punch! Love it!!
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Christmas, Oh What Fun
Inks: Crumb Cake & Early Espresso
Paper: Crumb Cake Base (5 1/2 X 11, score at 4 1/4), Real Red (5 3/8 X 2 3/4), Candy Cane Lane DSP (5 3/8 X 2 1/2)
Details: Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Mini Jingle Bells, Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine, Layering Ovals Framelits Dies
After seeing how cute this came out, I decided to decorate a box to go along with it. To be filled with goodies! I found these White Gift Boxes (3 X 3 X 3) in the Holiday Catalog that are sturdy & food safe & they have an acetate sleeve that slides on! That is so cool because you can make these ahead of time & fill them later on when you’re done baking.
Don’t you love it?!! Perfect size for my white chocolate peppermint fudge!
Stamps: Cookie Cutter Christmas, Oh What Fun
Inks: Real Red, Black Stazon & Early Espresso
Paper: Candy Cane Lane DSP (12 X 2 )

Last weekend my downline, the Maui Big Shots!, put on their first ever BIG EVENT… #imbringingbirthdaysback. They worked so hard & spent many hours planning, prepping, & decorating and the day was a huge success!! I need to send out a lot of Thank You’s and here’s one I came up with for today’s SSINK Challenge:
I had a little paper left over from the bags we made (shown off here…)
This beautiful paper is Floral Boutique DSP.
Stamps: Jar of Love
Inks: Night of Navy, Cucumber Crush, Flirty Flamingo
Paper: Night of Navy (4 1/4 X 11 card base, scored at 2 3/4 & 8 1/4), Flirty Flamingo (2 1/2 X 4…cut 2), Floral Boutique DSP (3 3/4 X 2 1/4…cut 2), Whisper White for inside (5 1/4 X 4)
This club’s projects will all center around Easter!
This cute little box (idea is from Mickey Roberts) is simple to make using the Baker’s Box Thinlits. The size is perfect to hold a handful of Easter treats (it’s a bit smaller than a cupcake). And don’t you love that lamb?! I colored him in with my Blender Pen using ink pressed to the lid of the ink pad cover. I actually separated the “happy easter” from the lamb to make it easier to use for baby cards. I’ll show you how to do this at Club.
March Club will be Saturday, March 12 at 2 pm at my house in Haiku or Sunday, March 13 at 1 pm in Pukalani. Guests are always welcome & just need to place a $25 order or pay $10.
Here’s another project I just love:
This pretty egg is decorated using Work of Art! My favorite thing is the sentiment embossed using Melon Mambo Embossing Powder! You can’t see it, but the Daffodil Delight stripes are sparkling with Wink of Stella!
On Saturday we headed to the Marriott to attend an event called Birthdays & Blessings that was a fundraiser for ACS Hope Lodge. It was like a mini convention, with the excitement, swapping, and speakers, and Make ‘n Takes!
Well, they’ve done it again! My Paper Pumpkin has come up with the cutest idea this month!! An Accordion Fold Card!Isn’t this so cute?!! Notice the yellow stamp under the H… that’s me putting my photopolymer stamp on upside down! Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve done that. I still like it!They even have boxes to go with the cards! (8 cards & boxes included!)
I added this flower stamp from the Hostess Set called Bloom With Hope then colored it using Blendabilities.
