2017 Calendar Post-It Notes

I’ve finally had a little time to start making some things for our Maui Big Shots! Craft Fair, coming up December 3rd & 4th, from 9am – 3pm in Kula, Maui.

These make a pretty & very useful gift for most anyone, and I’m selling them for just $5 each.  Shipping is just $6, no matter how many you order.  They come in lots of different color combinations and I have a limited supply.  You’ll need to hurry to place your orders before they sell out!

Leave me a message if you’d like to order some of these!  Thanks so much!

Full of Thanks & Giving!

Let our lives be full of both THANKS and GIVING.

I just love this sentiment!

Stamp Set was Lighthearted Leaves from the 2015 Holiday Catalog.

Can you guess where I found the little bow?  Something for Baby!Something for Baby Clear-Mount Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

The colors are Pear Pizzazz and Blackberry Bliss.  I have a love-hate relationship with Blackberry Bliss!  Can you guess why?  It’s a gorgeous color and sometimes nothing else will do!  But I always have to totally clean my Stampin’ Scrub afterwards!!  Ok.  It’s worth it.

Be sure & drop by Anne & Crystal’s blogs to see what they’ve done for November!

Happy Scenes for October

This month I’ve decided to use Happy Scenes.  And to do a little coloring with my markers (pumpkin pie & wild wasabi).  It’s not quite Maui, but we do have pumpkins over here!  I do miss October on the mainland.  Especially when Pat & I lived in Denver & we’d hike all over through the gorgeous aspen.  But, alas, Maui will have to do.  😉

Be sure & stop by Crystal & Anne’s blogs to see what they’ve come up with for October!

Wetlands for August

I keep seeing beautiful cards made with this set called Wetlands, and I finally purchased the set.  The August calendar page shows an example of about the quickest card you can make!

The background is a stamp from Work of Art stamped in Daffodil Delight & Pool Party.

Then I just stamped the birds over the top with Momento Black Ink.  Two minutes tops!

Now hop on over to see what Crystal & Anne have come up with for August.

Flowers for July

Hello again!  Happy July!!

This set is one of my favorites…so simple & fun to use!  The flowers are from Wild About Flowers, a stamp set that allows you to easily make pretty images using 2 colors.  Two-step stamping.

Stamp Sets:  Wild About Flowers & An Open Heart

Colors:  Pumpkin Pie & Garden Green

Thanks for stopping by.  Now go take a look to see what Anne & Crystal have done this month!

Work of Art for June

This is my Hawaii version of the Work of Art Stamp Set.  I’ve used the “masking technique” to cover up places that I stamp over.

This is one of those Stamp Sets that everyone needs!  So many different things you can do with it!!

Colors used:  Wild Wasabi, Soft Suede, Pool Party, Island Indigo

Time to check out what Crystal & Anne have come up with for June!

Calendar for May

For May I’ve chosen my favorite Stamp Set:  Sheltering Tree.  It’s so versatile & beautiful & comes with little images like this swing, a rake & a bicycle.

Colors used are Early Expresso, Soft Sky, & Lost Lagoon.

Speaking of friendship, I’ve made some of my closest friends through stamping.  Take a look at two of my best friend’s blogs, Anne & Crystal, to see what they’ve done for their May calendars!

Best Thoughts for April

I’ve done a little watercoloring for April, using the aquapainter.  It’s fun & simple and perfect with this image from the Host Set Best Thoughts!

Colors used are Watermelon Wonder & Mossy Meadow.  Look closely & you can see the little white dots made using the White Signo Pen.

The special thing about the Host Sets is that you can only purchase them when you’re the Host at a Stampin’ Up! event.  That means either it’s your turn to host club, or you make a $150 order by yourself.  Let me know if you’re interested in either one…

Be sure & stop by Anne & Crystal’s blogs to see what they’ve come up with for April!

Butterflies for March

This month I’m using the 2 pretty Stamp Sets: Watercolor Wings & Butterfly Basics.  The Watercolor Wings set uses a technique called Two-Step Stamping that makes it simple to look like a real artist!  And it’s fun to see how many color combos you can come up with!

Colors I used for the calendar are Blushing Bride & Tip Top Taupe.

Now flutter on over to check out Anne & Crystal’s creations for March!
