I’ve had several requests for directions to make my Bunny Card…so here they are:

Createwithcheryl.me Bunny Hole 2

Card Base is Crumb Cake, textured with Wood Grain (#127821).  Punch the Bunny Hole using the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  Using Gumball Green, I cut my grass using the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die and my leaves with the Sizzlits Little Leaves (#114511).

Bunny (Pool Party) uses the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4 X 7/8 Oval Punch and 3/4 X 15/16 Oval Punch, 7/8 Scallop Punch.  Tips:  Put your dimensional for the tail on the Bunny Butt first, then stick on the tail.  That way it won’t show on the other side.  Also, sponging with the Sponge Dabbers (#102892) adds a lot!  The eggs are punched using the same Oval Punch as the feet.  I slipped them under the grass, then added a small dot of Tombo when I was happy with the placement.  I use very small amounts of glue!  I really don’t like when the glue gets all over!  But, just in case, I always have my handy dandy Adhesive Remover (#103684) available!

Here’s the inside:

Stamp Set is Eggstra Spectacular (#133072) from the Mini Catalog.

I used the lamb on the envelope.  That’s the Blossom Punch behind the 2 X 1 3/8 Oval Punch.

Hope you have fun making this card.  Whoever receives it will love it!

Thanks for dropping in!  Cheryl

Chicks in a Box!

Createwithcheryl.me Chicks in a Box 1 (1)

I’m going a little wild with this Card in a Box idea!  So much fun!

Createwithcheryl.me Chicks in a Box 1 (2)Made these little chicks using Small Oval Punch, Boho Blossom Punch, and the Bird Punch.  The Easter Eggs are also made using the Small Oval Punch.

If you’re wondering how to make some of the punches stick up, I used 1/2″ strips cut from Window Sheets (#114323).

Peeps On a Stick

Peeps on a Stick

Whenever I see Peeps, I think of my friend (& upline), Anne.  It goes way back to our days as Girl Scout leaders…roasting Peeps over the fire.  Let’s just say, it’s not pretty.  They actually get really gross.  But that didn’t stop us from eating them.  Ok, stop ME.  So when I saw these Peeps on a Stick, I knew I had to make something for Anne.

I used the petal cone die & snipped a small hole in the bottom so the stick can poke through.  The chick is just a circle with snowflake punch arms & feathers.

Happy Easter to one of my favorite “peeps”!

Poppin' Pastels Technique

It’s Aloha Friday!!  We have CLUB this Sunday from 1-4 at Julie & Annette’s place in Pukalani.  CLUB is free for members.  This month’s hostess is Annette.

CLUB is open to anyone who wants to attend for a $10 fee, so feel free to join us!

On Sunday, April 1st, we’ll learn a technique called “Poppin’ Pastels”.  It’s fun & surprisingly easy.  Here’s a sample…

We’ll also make a pretty basket using the Petal Cone Die.

Please RSVP if you can join us.  Let me know if you need directions to Annette’s place.

Aloha, Cheryl

PS…I’d better mention…Sale-A-Bration ends tomorrow!  Place a $50 order & get free paper or stamps!

Easter Class

Sunday a very fun group of stampers got together, made Easter things & ate wonderful goodies!

Cards like this are so easy to make using the Big Shot!  Just fold your card, insert into BS, but don’t quite cut out the whole design.

This little basket turned out so cute!  Made it using the Scallop Envelope BS die.  And guess which punch we used for the hair & wings???

Loretta being creative!  She decorated the back using leftover scraps…Cute!!

Next Stamping Event:  CARD BUFFET ON MARCH 25 FROM 1-4PM.

You can choose the cards you want to make…just $2 each card with matching envelope.

We’ll definately have a Man’s birthday card, sympathy card, & Easter.

Hope you can join us!
