This is the first time I used this set: Happy Birthday Gorgeous. I just love the images! This idea was CASED from Mary Anderson. I’m not sure if she has a blog, but she should!! Click HERE for her Pinterest Page.
To make this card, I decided on a sentiment and circle I was cutting out. I used a circle 1 size smaller for a mask, then just stamped around the circle. And take a look at the Classic Weave Ribbon. It’s so pretty & rich looking!!
The sentiment is from Better Together. Perfect for birthday, wedding, or any congratulations card.

Today we have a fun Technique Challenge for you!! Stampin’ Up! recently added Glossy Cardstock to the catalog, so we decided on a challenge that uses it. It was easy & fun & the results are so pretty!! I think you’re okay without the gloves.
Here’s what I made…another Mermaid Card!!
Isn’t it gorgeous?!! And every card is unique!
I had to fussy cut the mermaid, which wasn’t too bad. But here’s another card where I avoided the cutting!
I still really like it. What do you think? Fussy cut or no?? For my club members… let me know which one you’d like to make! We just might have to try out this technique!
That glittery star is a new accessory: 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. There are little stars, flowers, hearts, & arrows. Really fun!
Can’t wait to see what the rest of the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Design Team has done for this challenge! CLICK HERE to check out their creations!
I grew up on Oahu and had acres and acres of pineapples growing right behind my house in Waipio Valley. I remember chasing around those fields after school with my dog running beside me. And they’re easy to grow! Every time I buy a pineapple & just stick the top in the ground & it will produce a pineapple the next year!
Stampin’ Up! is retiring my Pineapples!! And the Mahalo!! I’m sure I won’t be getting rid of those…they come in handy here on Maui!
