I had fun with everyone yesterday who came over to work on My Paper Pumpkin Projects! Several ladies brought over a stack of their unopened boxes & others helped my with my stack. We all loved how different the projects were… cards, boxes, journals, Candy holders… FUN STUFF!
If you’d like to give Paper Pumpkin a try for 3 months, now is the time! 3 months for just $55 and you’ll get a FREE Sale-a-Bration product because you placed a $50 order! Wait until Sale-a-Bration starts on Tuesday, January 5th, then go to My Paper Pumpkin & place your order!
We each made a card yesterday using one of the FREE sets from Sale-a-Bration, called Honeycomb Happiness. CASED this cute card from Billie Moan, one of my favorite bloggers.
This month’s Paper Pumpkin is very cute & easy! And you know I LOVE the coffee theme!
Even the envelopes are super cute!
Here’s what came in the kit! The best part for all of you who hate tying bows… the bows are already DONE for you!!

Last night I felt like making some cards, but didn’t want to use my brain. Paper Pumpkin to the rescue! The kits have everything cut out & scored. I love the flower stamp that came with it!!! I used it in this next card. Got a little more creative after I got started.
I’ve entered this card on the fun creative challenge called My Pumpkin Challenge! The creators of this challenge are especially nice and encouraging and complimentary and I always find some great ideas there. Thanks Jessica!! 🙂
The kits come with these bright envelope liners, too! You can see it on the right side. I sent this one to a friend and forgot to put tissue over the button. I have to call her to see how it arrived…
Here’s more from the kit:
These would make a great summer project to do with your kids!! To try it out, SIGN UP HERE! It’s just $19.95/month and the kit arrives in your mailbox ready to go!

Well, they’ve done it again! My Paper Pumpkin has come up with the cutest idea this month!! An Accordion Fold Card!Isn’t this so cute?!! Notice the yellow stamp under the H… that’s me putting my photopolymer stamp on upside down! Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve done that. I still like it!They even have boxes to go with the cards! (8 cards & boxes included!)
I added this flower stamp from the Hostess Set called Bloom With Hope then colored it using Blendabilities.
One of my patients, a member of the 100th Infantry Battalion, received the French Legion of Honor last week, France’s highest decoration!! What a fine man he is!! Wish I could share details about him, but you know, confidentiality & all that…
I dug through my Paper Pumpkin stuff & came up with the perfect card for him!
Isn’t this perfect?
The sentiment comes from Starburst Sayings. Here’s what it said on the inside:
A Big Thank You to all our military!!! We’re so proud & grateful to all of you for your many sacrifices!
Tonight we have our monthly get-together to make our Paper Pumpkin kits! I always try to come up with some creative ideas for the group.
The October kit comes with some sturdy triangle boxes, so I turned one into a Santa!
Isn’t he cute?!! I had to scramble around to find someone to borrow the mustache from (Kim who lives next door! Thanks, Kim!). Now I guess I’ll have to buy it! Found the original Santa idea on Pinterest (made by Sondra Jumper, but couldn’t find her blog).
By the way, see the beautiful doily under Santa?! A very talented SU demonstrator from Arizona, Sherry Beeson, made that for me, & I haven’t even met her! You meet the nicest people through Stampin’ Up!
If you’re interested in seeing what we’re doing tonight, feel free to drop by! We meet in Kahului, so just email me for directions. 5pm – 7pm. We’d love to have you join our Paper Pumpkin group!! Sign up here!!
I changed this one up a bit to use at my Thanksgiving table! Found the idea on Glenda Calkin’s blog. Then I added a button closure so that all the goodies won’t fall out!
I also made a few cards with the kit. Found this idea on Katy McGloin’s blog. Only thing I changed was to use my new Note Tag Punch.
I loved this card by Michelle Quinno, but didn’t have the Dots & Stripes Mask. So, guess where my polka dots came from?! There’s this leftover circle in the Chalk Talk Stamp Set! I knew I’d find a use for it!
