Happy Monday & welcome to the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration post where we’ll be focusing on Get Well Cards today.
For my cards I started with a kit that’s been sitting on my table for awhile. It’s called Color Me Happy & came out with our Stampin’ Blends. The colors are so pretty & the envelopes really step it up a notch!
This was super easy because the card base & white layer were ready to go. I used a flower from Touches of Texture and sentiment from Flourishing Phrases, embossing them in silver. Colored them in with my Stampin’ Blends & dressed it up with ribbon & Glitter Dots (love those!!).
Here’s a different look. Found those cute vellum leaves that were left over from last month’s Paper Pumpkin!
Welcome to the Easter Themed Blog Tour of some RemARKably Creative Stampers! Today I’m excited to share a View Master Card with you! Blast from the past! Remember when you were little – scrolling through pictures on your View Master?
My family used to go to this restaurant in Fresno after church once a month where I would happily browse through all the pictures on their View Master. Animals, exotic places, movie stars…
So when I noticed the Stamp Set A Good Day, the cute little pictures made me think of a View Master.

I’ve been partying with the pandas this week! I have a special friend, Cindy Baughman, that I wanted to send a card to.
She’s all about pineapples, so I think she’ll appreciate this cute card.
This card just makes me smile. The cute paper is Tutti-Frutti DSP and I love the Adhesive Backed Sequins that are part of this suite! The Party Panda stamp set is a Sale-a-Bration Set… FREE with any $50 purchase!
Contact me (or your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator) if you’d like to purchase products to make this card. It’s easy to get a $50 order so that you can get the Party Panda.

Well, March really snuck up on me! Do you feel the same? I am kind of glad February is over! I spent much of February with my husband who was in the hospital. Actually 2 hospitals. Hopefully this little panda represents what my March will be like!
My March calendar features the Party Panda. This is a really fun set you can get only through Sale-a-Bration. Spend $50 and get this set FREE.
Thank you for joining us for our February Alaskan Achievers Blog Hop. Those hopping today are Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world that have achieved the prestigious Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip that only a limited number around the world achieve.
We will be hopping together once a month to show you ideas and designs using current Stampin’ Up! products. Today we’ll be focusing on Sale-a-Bration and the Occations Catalog.
Today I made a pretty mermaid card using Magical Day, a stamp set I’m featuring next month as my FIRST STAMP OF THE MONTH CLUB set! I’m so excited to tell you about my club and hope you’ll give it a try. Each month will focus on a different stamp set and you have the option of opting in or opting out- no obligation to participate each month. The other thing you’ll like is that I make the completed cards for you! This way you’ll be inspired to make more of the same and you won’t have card kits piling up when you’re too busy to complete them.
I’ve colored in the mermaid using my Stampin’ Blends and added a little Wink of Stella. I love how it looks with the Foil Frenzy polka dot paper! Look at the bottom of my post for the supply list.
Today at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration we’ll be showing you some 2nd release Sale-a-Bration items! Stampin’ Up! just released more FREE items with every $50 you spend!! I’ll be showing you a card made with Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper, which was a 2nd release Sale-a-Bration item! This paper is so pretty as is, but I wanted to try adding a little color to it using my brayer.
I was trying to come up with an ombre look. This was really simple- just brayed it (is that a word?) with Marina Mist, Island Indigo, & then Night of Navy.
It might be cold & wet where you are, but February is actually a wonderful month!
Reasons to love February:
Valentine’s Day! Love.
Super Bowl Sunday!
Whale season. Maui, I know. Come visit!
Chocolates. You just might get some. You really should give some.
The start of Lent. Strive to be better, more giving, less complaining.
Back to my calendar. This pretty heart is from Sure Do Love You, in the Occasions Catalog, & it just happens to have a set of framelits that bundle with it!
See the way the sentiment is darker on the outside? That’s called the “kissing technique”. Very appropriate for February, don’t you think?! It’s very simple to do. Just stamp the image in Melon Mambo then roll the edge of the stamp in a darker color (I used Berry Burst).
Tell me what you LOVE about February!! Come on! I know you can find something…
Time to check out Crystal & Anne’s calendars for February. Here’s a photo of the three of us, surrounding some special guests:
From the left: Crystal, Sterling, Shelli, Anne, & me
I want to show you a card I made that really shows off my favorite Designer Series Paper, Sweet Soiree. Just in time for the wedding of one of my former Girl Scouts! You might see some evidence of a tea party we just had for her in the background.
That paper is so gorgeous, it doesn’t need much else! This card is called a Double Gate Fold Card- a great way to show off DSP!
Here’s how it looks when you open it:
One thing I love is a good sentiment stamp. This sweet saying is from Special Celebrations. You can find all supplies with a link to my store at the bottom of my post.
The cake on the front is from Cake Soiree Bundle. I embossed it in silver to go with this elegant card.

Today we’ll be sharing our favorite items from the Occasions & Sale-a-Bration Catalogs. I just LOVE the new Silver Mini Gable Boxes! Simple to assemble, yet so stunning with that shiny silver! I’ve added a 12 x 1 1/2″ strip of Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper. I used Fast Fuse, which I used to hate! In fact, I threw it away! A few months later I watched a video showing how you need to press down very lightly, or it will get gummed up. Now I absolutely LOVE IT! It’s strong & fast to use!
Fun tip: Stampin’ Up! even has Ready Shreddie for us to match!
For the tag, I used the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies to cut out this beautiful tag. The flowers on top are from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. Talk about fast & gorgeous! Perfect if you need to make 150 wedding favors! I needed these a year ago when my daughter #1 got married!
