Make A Medallion Fun Fold

I received a swap from Mary Alice Bellis recently that convinced me to get the Make a Medallion stamp set!  You can’t really “purchase” that set- but it’s available for just 2 more weeks through Sale-A-Bration.  FREE with any $50 purchase!

Look at this Fun Fold!!  I’d never seen one like this & it’s pretty special!  Thanks, Mary Alice, for such a great idea!  She’s got a Marvelous blog, by the way!

This is 3-step stamping!  Simple to do.  All the images fit inside each other to make this beautiful design.  You’ll find lots of layers in this Fun Fold Card, with plenty of room to write your message.

This white page opens up, too!

Would you like to make this card?  There’s still lots of room in my March Cards, Etc. Classes!  3 classes to choose from:

  • Saturday, March 25th at 11 am or again at 2 pm
  • Monday, March 27th at 10 am

If you’re an On-Line Customer and would like to make this card, place a $50 order on my site and select the Make a Medallion set for FREE.  I’ll send you the basics to make this card, cut & scored, along with directions!  You’ll just need to do the stamping.

Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st, so you need to act fast to get this set!

Here’s another set that fits perfectly inside the Medallion:  Thoughtful Banners.Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Stamp Set

Carousel – GDP079

This week the Global Design Project Theme is Amusement Park.  There’s nothing that says Amusement Park more than the Carousel!  I remember dashing to get on the ride & choosing the prettiest horse to ride on!  Then waving to my people & feeling like a princess!

I couldn’t find a carousel picture, but here’s a couple of photos of Disneyworld with the girls…fun!!!

If I thought of it sooner, I would have done a teacup card!!  Malia!  How many times did you make Mom go on those teacups?!!  I’m dizzy just looking at it!

Card Details:

  • Stamps:  Carousel Birthday
  • Ink:  Peekaboo Peach & Wisteria Wonder
  • Paper:  Peekaboo Peach (5 1/2 X 11, scored at 4 1/2, & 3 X 4), Whisper White (5 1/4 X 4), Wisteria Wonder (5 1/8 X 3 7/8), Carried Away Designer Series Paper (5 1/8 X 1 3/4)
  • Accessories:  Enamel Shapes

Don’t you love those 2 colors together?!  And the enamel dots really add a lot!  The Carried Away Designer Series Paper is FREE with any $50 order while Sale-A-Bration is happening… ends March 31st.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great week!

ICS Blog Hop One Last Sale-A-Bration!

It’s the last month of Sale-A-Bration, so there’s still time to place an order of $50 & receive a FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!

Today I’ll show you some Sale-A-Bration items that I’m playing around with for the first time, Hey, Chick and Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper.  It’s true.  Actually using the stamp set or paper makes me really fall in love with it- a lot more than just seeing it in a catalog.

Can you spot all the Sale-A-Bration items on this card?

  • Hey, Chick
  • 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon
  • Delicate Details

The splatters in the background are just done by flicking my Gold Wink of Stella Pen at the paper.

Card #2.  A different look using Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper

I used Watercolor Pencils to color the flower.  And there’s Delicate Details embossed in gold down the side!  Love that!

Here’s a close up to show you the sparkle from the Gold Wink of Stella.  Can you see it?

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  Next be sure to check out Megan’s blog where you’re sure to get lots of inspiration & ideas!

SSINKTC#42 Stained Glass Technique

This is the first time I’ve tried this technique & it’s so simple & fun!  It was difficult to capture in a photo!  Here’s what I came up with:

The Fairy Celebration was perfect for this technique because there’s a lot you can color!  You just emboss on vellum, then turn it over & color with markers.  I attached the vellum to a Whisper White piece the same size (3 X 4) and attached it with glue dots under the coloring or the sequins, so that you can’t see the dots.

The FREE silver ribbon from Sale-A-Bration went with it nicely!

Here’s a close up so that you can see the Stained Glass Technique a little better:

Be sure & check out the other Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team ideas!  And, just for fun, give it a try & enter our challenge!

More balloons!  And see the pretty designs on the bottom.  That’s Washi Tape!  Love the colors!
Simple & colorful card!  That “Thank You” is another FREE set!
