It’s month 4 of my In Color Club & this month we’ll be making cards starring Powder Pink! Beautiful, soft color! Get ready for some fun stamping!! Here’s what we’ll be making this month…
I knew I had to come up with a piggy card! Hope everyone likes the others!
Here’s the dates for this month:
Monday, Sept 11th at 10 am, my house
Sunday, Sept 17th at 1 pm, my house
Tuesday, Sept, 19th at 5:30 pm, Francine’s office in Kahului
This club has been really fun and I want to thank all of you who’ve joined me!! Next month will be our final month. Let’s do a In Color Swap!! Ruth (in Pennsylvania), you, too!! There’s 16 of us!! Let me know if you want to participate- Do it!! You’ll end up with 16 fabulous cards!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you’re finding some time to stamp this weekend!
Why don’t I do this more often?!! I’m talking about CASE-ing the catalog. I’ve been wanting to play around with my new stamp set, So Many Shells, so I went to page 38 in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.
Well, not a big surprise, but I can’t find my Mini Treat Bag Thinlits!! It’s here somewhere! So I made a card instead, & LOVE IT! What do you think?
I just love 2-step stampin’! And I love that new Ombre Ribbon!! Supplies listed at the bottom of this post.
For more great ideas from the catalog, head over to the SSINK PAGE!
It’s birthday time for the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team! This card features the new In Colors in a big way!
CASEed this beautiful card from Mary Alice Bellis, who makes some gorgeous cards, by the way! This card was just what I was looking for to add to my In Color Club samples for June!
I just used my sponge daubers to add some color behind the cut out part. Each card is unique & so pretty!
There’s still time to join my In Color Club! $40/month & you’ll receive all the In Color supplies for that month plus 4 cards to give you lots of ideas! I’d love to have you join even if you’re not on Maui! I’ll send you a different set of colors each month. I’ll have you pay postage please (around $7). The club lasts just 5 months… 1 month for each In Color.
Here’s the SSINK Card Sketch 46 for June. I love how these sketches make me come up with my own design, instead of just searching Pinterest (although I do love Pinterest!).
I could have stamped some splotches on the upper left, but I decided to try out my new Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. Absolutely LOVE these!!
Here’s what I came up with:
Isn’t that cutout fun!! And I could use the little diamond shapes for a shaker card! The ribbon is Fresh Fig Finely Woven Ribbon (1/2″) and it’s really soft & easy to work with.
Here’s a tip for stamping clear images when you’re using tiny fonts: I tried stamping the sentiment using my Fresh Fig Ink Pad, but it was very “juicy” and kept filling in the l’s and o’s. Then I tried just using the brush side of my Fresh Fig marker and it worked perfectly!
You’ll find all the supplies at the bottom of this post. Who else loves these thinlits dies?!! This will be one of the cards we’ll be making for the July In Color Club where the starring color will be…FRESH FIG! The club members will be receiving everything Fresh Fig in July… Cardstock, Ink Pad, refill, ribbon, marker, and the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack! Plus bows & glitter shapes just for signing up!
Would you like to join us? There’s still time! It’s a 5 month club where we focus on 1 In Color each month. For $40/month, you’ll have ALL THE IN COLOR SUPPLIES by October! If you can’t attend the club meetings, I’ll make up the cards for you & send them over with your In Color items for the month.
Now go to the SSINK Card Challenge 46 to see other samples. And just for fun, please enter our challenge! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I’m so excited to get started with my In Color Club!! This club will go for 5 months only… 1 class for each new In Color.
Today I want to give you a preview of one of the cards we’ll be making in June (AKA Berry Burst Month!).
I’m loving this color!! There’s also a touch of Powder Pink & Fresh Fig on there if you look closely. Did you notice there’s no stamping on this card? Don’t worry, we’ll do plenty of stamping on the other cards we make! I CASED this card from Brian King, making just a few changes. Thanks for the idea, Brian!! All supplies listed at the end of this post.
There’s still time to join my In Color Club! $40/month will get you ALL THE IN COLOR SUPPLIES by the time October comes around! And I’m opening this up to my on line customers who can’t be with us on Maui! $40/month (plus shipping) and I’ll send you the supplies along with the cards (prepped or finished up, whichever you prefer).
On Maui, I have 2 clubs set up, so you can attend either one (5 months- June – October)
3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm (beginning June 12th) or
2nd Monday of each month at 10am (beginning June 18th)
Feel free to attend some Mondays & some Sundays if that works better for you.
Love is in the air today, which you’ll see as you hop along with the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration team! You’re sure to get some great ideas & inspiration from these talented ladies. I feel very fortunate (and challenged!) to be a part of this group!

This paper just happens to be FREE with any $50 order during Sale-A-Bration (going through March 31st). I saw this idea about a year ago from Mickey Roberts, but I can’t find the exact link…

We’re going to package them in these cute little tins. They don’t ship to Hawaii, but I HAD to have them!! This set is called Pun Intended.
Fun images, don’t you think?
Stamps: Pun Intended
Inks: Emerald Envy & Basic Black
Paper: Emerald Envy (4 X 3 3/4), Playful Palette DSP (3 3/4 X 3 1/2), Peekaboo Peach & Very Vanilla (cut using Layering Squares Framelits)
I’ve been hearing about Sara Douglass’ frosting recipe that she presented at #OnStage2016! At club this month, we made this cute card using Sara’s recipe.
I actually came up with this card idea by looking at the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration challenge picture shown here:
My card’s not a beach scene, but I did use blue & pink & made little sprinkles like the sand.
Stamps: Sweet Cupcake & Endless Thanks
Inks: Crumb Cake & Soft Suede for Cupcake Liner (I stamped off Crumb Cake for the #3 stamp that had the largest image), Frosting was Flirty Flamingo (stamped off #3 stamp with the largest image) and the recipe reinker I used was Calypso Coral. I sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds before it had time to dry. Pool Party ink for “friend”.
Paper: Crumb Cake base, Soft Sky (5 3/8 X 4 1/8), Pink Pirouette (5 1/8 X 3 7/8)
Accessories: Cupcake Cutouts Framelits, Dimensionals under the cupcake
Hints: Use the Precision Base Plate & Die Brush & the “Sweet” pops out with no trouble at all!
