Aloha and welcome to another Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration post! Today we’ll be showing you our ideas for 3 X 3 gift cards. 3 X 3 cards are simple and very useful. I participated in a 3 X 3 swap at On Stage in November and got tons of great ideas!! Here’s what I came up with using the Quilted Christmas Suite:
I started with the Pizza Box! No surprise there!! Perfect size for the 3 X 3 cards.
Open it up…
Isn’t that fun & inviting?! It’s filled with 3 X 3 cards with matching envelopes.
I’ve had so much fun with this Suite! There’s so much you can do with it.
You might be searching around for that star in the middle. That’s from Trim Your Stocking Thinlits. All ingredients listed below.
Time to head over to the SSINK PAGE for more 3 X 3 ideas!
I’m one of those people who have a hard time throwing things away! Even old Christmas Cards! I’ve found a way to recycle them that I’m really happy with: Window Cards using last year’s cards.
This was a really FUN project! These are some of my old Christmas Cards, framed using Hearth & Home Thinlits! You can purchase the Thinlits for just $20 and do the same with your cards this year! Here’s some finished cards:
Can’t wait to send this one back to the grandparents!! And the last one isn’t a Christmas Card, but I love the colors & had to show you.
Which one do you like best? Does anyone recognize their card from last year?!! I’d love to hear your comments!
Now go over the the SSINK PAGE to see some more Window Card ideas!
Thank you for joining the SSINK Team today as we’ll be showcasing Bags ‘N Tags. I always have a few decorated bags made up for last minute gift giving. I used that fun plaid paper from Merry Little Christmas Suite to make today’s project.
All I’ve been making is Christmas, so I wanted to do something different. Found the idea for this from Stampin’ Georgia, who had tons of great ideas! Thanks Georgia! I love the ease of stamping with Merry Little Labels & just punching out with the coordinating Everyday Label Punch!
I love the stamp with the deer that says “Let it snow”… but it doesn’t apply to me much here on Maui! So I cut up my stamp using my paper snips to make it more useful for me! Very freeing!!
Found the perfect sized Happy Birthday in the Ready to Pop set.
Before I leave, I need to show you that it does snow in Hawaii. Sometimes right on my mountain, Haleakala! So don’t tell me it doesn’t get cold here!
Who has hiked in Haleakala? Or gone up to the top to see the sunrise? Freezing cold, right?!!
Hope you got some inspiration to help with your gift packaging! For more great ideas, check out the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team Page!
I have a Clean & Simple Project to share with you today. Tags using Merry Little Labels Stamp Set and the coordinating punch, Everyday Label Punch. The colors all come together well using Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. I haven’t punched a hole in the top of these tags yet, because I just might put them on the front of a card. That would look pretty with a little embossed paper in the background…
For this tag, I just punched Old Olive cardstock & laid it sideways.
Tag #2 has some Black Mini Sequin Trim peaking out. Love how tiny this is!
Don’t you love the plaid paper in this DSP?!! This one has a gold stitched shape circle underneath and is embellished with Gold Faceted Gems.
Today the Stylin’ Stampin INKspiration team will be CASE-ing Darla Roberts! Darla took a break from our team for a bit last year when she was going through lots of stress and challenges, but she’s BACK! I finally got to meet Darla at On Stage a few weeks ago & immediately felt like we were old friends! She is full of energy & enthusiasm & has a heart of gold. Love you, Darla!!
Today the SSINK Team will be doing something fun… making Christmas Cards using Non-Christmas Stamps! Here’s what I came up with:
I guess the Beachy Christmas set is technically a Christmas Stamp Set. But I thought this would work because I added the jar from Jar of Love Set.
This was my first time using this cute set. My club members are pretty excited about this set- living on Maui. Can’t wait to see what they all come up with! When you see this post, I’ll actually be in Salt Lake City!! And On Stage!! Can’t wait. I leave tomorrow (I’m writing this on Nov. 6th) and haven’t made any swaps yet! I’ve still got a few hours. I’d like to do something with this set and Blendabilities. Stay tuned… we’ll see how many I get finished.
Here’s a close up of the Shaker part of the card. So cute!!
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be sure & send some pictures of the Stampin’ Up! Event. You can always visit my Facebook page to see more photos.
My favorite Suite from the Holiday Catalog is Quilted Christmas! The more I play around with it, the more ideas pop into my head!
This suite includes Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, Quilt Builder Framelits Dies, Quilted Christmas DSP, 1/4″ Ribbon and Stitched Felt Embellishments.
Recently I challenged my downline, the Maui Big Shots!, to start using their DBWS and to add an event to their blog. Ramona Corson and Mary Green met the challenge, so this is one of the gifts they’ll receive from me:
I just love the Pizza Boxes!! They’re sturdy and glossy white and simple to assemble. They are the perfect size to hold a set of 3 X 3 cards. And now there are 3 X 3 envelopes available for purchase!
Our house is pretty quiet now that our girls are gone. But we do have Swiffer & Kaboodle! Those two can be pretty entertaining! It’s exactly like Garfield & Odie!! Swiffer is the hyper tag-along little brother & Kaboodle basically taunts him or puts up with him.
We never wanted a cat. My husband didn’t, at least. He’s allergic to cats. But this stray cat insisted on being one of the family! Kaboodle just LOVES Pat! She always wants to sit on him & when he pets her she purrs so loudly and does that thing with her paws where they dig into you because she’s just so, so happy! And did I mention she drools?!! Seriously! The happier she gets…
On to my cat card. I don’t have the set called Pretty Kitty yet, but I do have the Cat Punch!
I used Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape in the background & used Foam Adhesive Strips to pop up the cat (instead of dimensionals) because I needed something skinny. All supplies listed at the bottom of this post. Found the original idea for this card HERE on the Cow Whisperer’s blog. Her’s is black & white & very pretty!
I’m really hoping Stampin’ Up! will not retire this cute punch, but will come up with a new stamp set so that we can use it even more!!
