This card’s a little different. Can you find the differences?!!

Be sure & check out what the other SSINK Designers have made using this sketch. Better yet, play along & show us your own card!
I’m excited to show you two ideas for Project Life! Please bear with me because it’s difficult to capture these pages in photos. Trust me! They’re really fun, cute, & super quick to put together!!
The first is to give a Project Life Kit as a Christmas Gift to someone who might enjoy using it to collect their memories! Last night I started a kit for my nephew, Abe. He’s really into making cards using My Paper Pumpkin, and I think he’ll love Project Life!
Some of you will remember… Abe & I were featured in Stampin’ Success Magazine this past October. I printed off the article for the adjacent page.
Abe has been in Special Olympics for many, many years & even went to Greece to participate! He was King at his Senior Prom. He’s been on a real billboard. He’s been on the news for his Random Acts of Kindness that he does every year on his birthday. Basically, Abe’s AMAZING!
I’ll just mail Abe the album with some extra insert sheets, the Project Life Card Kit, some Project Life pens & some Washi Tape. He can do the rest!
The next thing I want to show you is what I’m putting together for my daughter, Jenny, who was married October 29th. She was lucky to have 2 showers: one in Texas, where she’s living and one on Maui, where she grew up. Both showers had a tea party theme and I asked people to bring their favorite recipes. So her Project Life Album will be a very special Recipe Book!
I used the front page for the invitation. This paper and tea kettle is now retired (unfortunately!) but I wanted to show you.
Here you can see how I put the recipe from her high school friend, Debbie next to their picture. I used a cake photo from the shower & stamp set & thinlits. The background papers are from the Love Story Project Life Kit. There’s also Washi Tape on there. Fun to put together & very simple. In fact, I think it looks a little better if you don’t embellish too much, or it will look “busy”.
Here you can see where I used one of the cards she received (the umbrella). The possibilities are endless!
Today the SSINK Team will be making cards using this Card Sketch:
I love doing these sketches! They force me to come up with something all my own. I wanted to use this cute Moroccan Washi Tape, so that’s what I started with. That Moroccan DSP has some gorgeous colors! Especially that Emerald Envy paired with Delightful Dijon & Early Espresso!
Stamps: Cottage Greetings
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper: Very Vanilla Card Base (5 1/2 X 11, scored at 4 1/4), Emerald Envy (4 X 3 1/4), Moroccan DSP (3 3/4 X 3),
I’m home from a fun, fun week of wedding planning!! Jenny found the perfect dress!!! Found the bridesmaids dresses, my dress, had a fabulous Tea Bridal Shower for Jen. And spent the week with daughter #2, Malia, & Diana (Mother-in-Law to be). I’ll show you a few photos of the shower.
Everyone brought Jenny a recipe, so I have a perfect Project Life Idea!! Stay tuned…
Ok. Back to what I started with! I’m planning May’s club projects and so far this is what I’ve come up with.
This card starts by stamping leaves in Stazon Ink, masking off the center & sponging with Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride, & Pear Pizzazz. Then I made a template using the window sheets that I punched circles in & sponged with Whisper White Craft Ink. It’s really fun to do & surprising how cool they turn out!
Happy 50th Anniversary to a very special couple…Louella & Lew!! Louella’s one of my favorite people to stamp with! A very sweet person with a never-ending sense of humor. Could be one of the reasons she and Lew have been married for 50 years!
The flower image on the Indescribable Gift Stamp Set is so beautiful!! Perfect for stamping on vellum!
The idea for this beautiful card comes from Becky Cowley. I stamped the image with Momento Ink and then colored it using Blendabilities. You could also use your markers or Blender Pen. I turned the image over to give it a softer look.
Here’s a different look in blue:
In the background, you can see “happily ever after”. I’ve used Big News and Blessed By God for the sentiments and done some Gorgeous Grunging!
Please leave me a comment! Tell me if you’d like to make any of my cards in a class or at club, and I’ll make sure and add them to the menu…

I just love the new DSP Specialty Paper, Gold Soiree! The colors are gorgeous! You can purchase it HERE!I really like this layout, too! That’s why I give all the measurements…so it’s simple to re-make.
