This club’s projects will all center around Easter!
This cute little box (idea is from Mickey Roberts) is simple to make using the Baker’s Box Thinlits. The size is perfect to hold a handful of Easter treats (it’s a bit smaller than a cupcake). And don’t you love that lamb?! I colored him in with my Blender Pen using ink pressed to the lid of the ink pad cover. I actually separated the “happy easter” from the lamb to make it easier to use for baby cards. I’ll show you how to do this at Club.
March Club will be Saturday, March 12 at 2 pm at my house in Haiku or Sunday, March 13 at 1 pm in Pukalani. Guests are always welcome & just need to place a $25 order or pay $10.
Here’s another project I just love:
This pretty egg is decorated using Work of Art! My favorite thing is the sentiment embossed using Melon Mambo Embossing Powder! You can’t see it, but the Daffodil Delight stripes are sparkling with Wink of Stella!
Stamps: Petite Pairs, Kind & Cozy, Embellished Events
Colors: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Accessories: Bird Punch, 2 1/2″ Circle Punch, Ticket Duo Builder Punch, Retro Fresh Washi, Watercolor Wonder Washi
I’ll have to try this same design using different Washi Tape & punches. I think it would be cute with a flower punch! And don’t you just love the Petite Pairs Stamp Set?! So versatile, and I like to stamp something on the inside.
One more picture before I go…
Isn’t she the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!!! Hannah is my up-upline’s new baby & she came as a set! Baby brother was sleeping. She’s so precious, Crystal!! Go here to check out Crystal’s blog! Don’t know how she’s still managing to stamp & blog, but she’s managing to squeeze it in.
I have been seeing this Card in a Box idea all over Pinterest and just love it!! Anne and I have come up with a class for you, so that you can make one too!

We’re really excited about these projects – and we think you will be too! Hurry and sign up to reserve your spot in class…space is limited!
You’ll have your choice of this floral option or a bunny version:
So much fun, and every one comes out a little differently. You’ll also be making a Tag-a-Bag-Box with the Spiral Flower.
Your box will be fully embellished, but we will leave it up to you to fill it.
Our last project features the new Scallop Tag Topper punch from the Occasions catalog.
This is guaranteed to be a great afternoon, and I hope you’ll join us!
Our HATS (Hopelessly Addicted to Stamping) CLUB had a great time yesterday at our Christmas party! Here’s a picture of some of the gifts we exchanged:
The ladies outdid themselves this year!! Mocha Mix, beautiful tea bag holders, angels, magnets, floral bookmarks with curly wire… So much fun!! And don’t let me start with the food!! My club meetings are definitely a highlight of my month!! We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month from 1-4pm in Pukalani. New members welcome!!
Big news: I’m starting an UPCOUNTRY CLUB that will meet the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10am – 1pm at my house in Haiku. We still need a few more members!!
Here’s how CLUB works:
We get together once a month & make a project or cards or learn a new technique. The class is FREE… but each member has to place a $25 order each month. The best part is that we rotate HOSTESS BENEFITS! When it’s your month, you’ll get to choose a bunch of FREE PRODUCTS! If you want to just come as a visitor, the cost is $15.
One other huge benefit is the friendships you’ll make! FUN…FRIENDS…FOOD!!
Happy Veteran’s Day! And, a special Thank You to all of our service personnel!! You’ve sacrificed so much for the people of this great nation and we don’t pause to think about it enough.
I want to share a sneak peak of what I’ll be selling at my 2 CRAFT FAIRS THIS WEEKEND!
Saturday, November 17, I’ll be up at St. Joseph’s Church in Makawao from 7am – 2pm. Be sure to take home some of their delicious Portuguese Bean Soup!!
Sunday, November 18 from 9am – 2pm I’m excited to participate in the 1st ever MAUI STAMPERS CRAFT FAIR! We’ll have a big variety of items for sale (not just stampin’ stuff). Come & bring a friend and stay around to have some cider & baked goods.
And, now, for the Sneak Peak…
These decorated DVD cases are the perfect way to stay organized! Just keep one in your purse or glove compartment and keep all your lists and coupons inside.
Here’s what’s inside. You’ll have a notepad on the right side and a pocket on the left to stick your coupons or receipts in. And a pen to match. These will be available for $14/each and no 2 are exactly alike! They’ll make great, practical gifts. I also have extra legal pads available (cut to fit) for purchase (4/$5). If you’re on the mainland and would like to purchase these, please send me an email. Free shipping if you purchase 10 or more! Just remember, each one is a little different.
Stay tuned for another sneak peak! And, I’ll see you this weekend!
I went a little crazy the last few days making a Hawaiian Hale (house, to you mainlanders…). I’ve been thinking about doing this since these “design a houses” went on sale for just $2.39 on our CLEARANCE RACK.
Isn’t it just SOOOOO CUTE!! I was planning on offering this as a class! Silly me!! The girls would have come after me with their scissors after a couple of hours!! The hula dancer is held there with a wire and she moves like a bobblehead! And the ukulele really plays…Lovely Hula Hands! Ok, not really. I can put one of those fake candles in there and it lights up through the vellum windows.
This is the back & sides of the house. The DSP is Comfort Cafe. The Hula Dancer & surfboards are a retired stamp set (thanks, Claudine!!!). The palm tree was some retired Christmas paper that looked like wood, wrapped around a big highlighter. Then I put a big blob of glue on top & stuck in leaves.
I think I need to make a bobblehead of my husband as a fire-dancer!! Stay tuned…
Update: My Oahu friend, Sue, saw my hut & made one herself! Here it is!!
She made it to totally match her house! Christmas tree & doggie in the window! LOVE IT!!!
