These cute images are from Cookie-Cutter Halloween! Love that set! The holiday season is officially here! I’m determined to stay on top of things this year!! We’ll see what happens.
I have lots of fun classes scheduled in the next few months! You can always see what events I’m having by clicking on CLASSES & EVENTS on the top of my blog. Try to join us at some of the classes this month!
Be sure to head over to Anne & Crystal’s blogs to see their October calendars!
Seaside Shore has some nice, detailed fish images, along with seaweed & rope. This is my stamp for the August calendar page.
I’ve used a Masking Technique to stamp the bottom fish in Calypso Coral, then cover him with a post-it note that I’ve cut out in that shape. Then I was able to stamp seaweed right over it without messing up the fish. Other colors: Dapper Denim, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky.
Going in a hot air balloon is on my bucket list! Maybe over Napa Valley or Santa Fe. There’s a cute stamp set called Lift Me Up that I’ve found a lot of use for! It comes in a bundle with Up & Away Thinlits Dies!
Have you ever gone up in a balloon? Where did you go? I’m “up” for suggestions! Ha!!
Be sure & check out what Crystal & Anne have created for their May calendar pages!
My daughter, Malia, spent last Christmas with us, and helped me with my calendars. Here’s a page she created:
Those jars are just adorable! Our family loves to fish- everyone except Malia, that is. She says she loves fishing, but just hates to catch them. Feels sorry for the little things. Me. I grew up trout fishing in California with my dad. I could spend all day looking for the perfect fishing hole & be so happy! My husband loves deep sea fishing in Hawaii. He actually was lost at sea about 24 years ago when his boat capsized & was miraculously rescued the next morning!
Now hop on over to see what Crystal & Anne came up with for April.
One of my most popular items will be on sale this weekend at the Maui Big Shots! Craft Fair… my desktop calendar!
These sell for just $12…a gift you’ll enjoy all year long! The case is sort of a long, plastic DVD case and the cover opens up and acts as a stand for your desk.
If you’d like to order these through the mail, shipping is just $6, no matter how many sets you order!!
Here’s a peek at another month…
Leave a comment to order. I’ll have paypal set up in a few days.
Or better yet, come see us at our Craft Fair in Kula Kai on Maui this weekend!!
67 Ka Drive. Look for signs on the highway.
Saturday and Sunday from 9am – 3pm. Lots of vendors with everything homemade on Maui! And…come with an appetite! We’ll have freshly baked coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, coffee, tea, & spiced cider. Did I mention Christmas cookies?!
I love this retired set…Holiday Home!! Colored the house with my markers. Fall is my favorite time of year and I sure miss the beautiful leaves on the mainland!! I lived in Denver for 3 years before I was married and used to go hiking almost every weekend. The aspen trees are gorgeous!
But, alas, I’m stuck on Maui! Ha!
I’ll be in Las Vegas with Mom the beginning of this month. My brother & I plan to take her to a few shows & see Hoover Dam. Maybe they’ll have some beautiful leaves?! I have a feeling it’ll just be HOT, HOT, HOT!
I’ll be having another Tin of Cards Class on Saturday, October 10th at 11am. Hope you can join us in making this beautiful & practical set of cards! Contact me for more info.
And please share a comment with any Las Vegas Suggestions!! Food? Shows?? Lucky numbers??
Be sure & stop by Anne & Crystal’s blogs to see what they did for their October Calendars!
I used a retired set called Happy Watercolor to make this image. I really like the sentiment…might have to keep this stamp set. I really struggle with the retiring sets and have to put them aside for a year or two before I can part with them! The good news is…there’s always something new (& wonderful!). The New Catalog will be available June 2nd!!
Have a wonderful day! Be sure & stop by Anne & Crystal’s blogs to see their May Calendars!
