My Downline May Projects

A downline is someone who has signed up under me (the upline) to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  Most do this just to get a 20% off discount on everything!  You don’t have to have classes to be a demo.

Our group is called the Maui Big Shots! and they are a fun & creative group!  Today I want to show off the swaps they made.

Yvette made these adorable Graduation Party Favors using the Curvy Keepsake Box.  She put ring pops inside (class rings…) and they were a huge hit!  She didn’t think this qualified as a swap (it TOTALLY DID!) so she make a cute 3X3 card also:

So cute!!  I think she used the Bird Punch and itty bitty punch pack.

Ramona made this beautiful card and I love the colors!  Tip Top Taupe & Calypso Coral.  I love that little flower.  Not sure what set she used.

Aimee went all out & made a pop up card!  Here’s the inside:

Love it!

Claudine’s pretty card is from one of the kits!  Love, love, love it!

I recognize this DSP as one of my favorites from the past… I really like the layout Beth used!  Great layout to use with any Designer Series Papers!

Linda had all different cards we got to choose from.  Love this layout!

Last, but not least, Francine made a Fancy Fold Card for us:

I love this tea set & will be sad to see it go!

Isn’t that the coolest fold?!!  I’ve asked Francine to teach us how at our next meeting.

Please comment if you can tell us more information about your card!  Tell us what you like best about being a Maui Big Shot!

If you’d like to be a Maui Big Shot!, it costs $99 and you get $125 in Stampin’ Up! products.  If you sign up during the month of June, you also get 2 FREE STAMP SETS…ANY VALUE!  Click on the photo below for more information.

I’d love to have you be a part of the team!

Spring Blog Hop!

I’m excited to participate in a blog hop today with the Borderline Buddies…this time from a border quite far away!  Maui!

borderling buddies

The theme is SPRING!  That gets me thinking flowers & butterflies, which I noticed all around me as I took my walk this morning.

I’m lucky to live on Maui, where flowers bloom year-round!

I made a card using a unique fold I’ve been wanting to try out:

Spring Blog Hop (2)

Isn’t this a fun fold?!  Found the directions on Linda Bauwin’s blog.  Check it out- she has some great videos!!  The stamp sets used are Flower Patch & Feel Goods and the DSP is Botanical Gardens DSP.  Colors are Pool Party & Hello Honey.

Had to make a little box to match my card:

Spring Blog Hop (3)

This is the Curvy Keepsake Box…my favorite little candy box!  Stamped it with some flowers from Flower Patch then cut out a flower with Floral Frames Framelits, made a slit in the flower & slid it over the handle.  Thought it needed something else, so I added a clothespin & stuck on a llittle butterfly.  Here’s a close up so you can see the pearls:

I’m also entering my projects in Stampin’ Royalty SR#324.Wear Our Badge

The theme is “Anything Goes!!”

Spring Blog Hop (4)

I love this project & I’m pretty sure my club members will love it too!  Club is this weekend- 2 dates to choose from:  Saturday, 2pm at my house in Haiku or Sunday, 1pm at Linda’s house in Makawao.  Guests always welcome!  You just need to make a $25 order, and the project is free.  Please RSVP.

Now hop on over to see what Leanna & Susan have come up with for “Spring”!  And thanks, again, for including me in your Borderline Buddies Blog Hop!

Free Make & Take for Thanksgiving!

Last night we had our first Thanksgiving Make & Take and I want to show you the wonderful projects we made!

Francine's tissue holder

Project #1 was created by Francine and I just love it! It’s a small tissue holder and it’s really simple to make.  She’s used Into the Woods DSP from the holiday catalog for the pretty paper.

Francine is selling kits so that you can make these at home.  Just $10 for a kit that makes 5 holders (tissue not included).

Marylou's Curvy Box Turkey

Project #2 was created by Marylou.  Isn’t it adorable?!!  She’s used the Curvy Keepsake Box to make them, along with lots of punches.  Just add candy…

She has kits available for sale, also!  For just $10, you’ll be able to make 6 of these cute little turkeys.  I forgot to take a picture of his “back-side”.  That will be a surprise for you!

Thanksgiving pocket boxes

Project #3 was created by me.  You can choose to make either a candy box or a place-setting to decorate your Thanksgiving table.  I used the Pillow Box Framelit that is in the holiday catalog.

I also have kits available for $10 & you’ll have supplies to make 6.

We’re doing this same event again this Sunday, October 18th.

173 Hoohana #101 in Kahului behind Safeway.

Don’t miss it!!  Did I mention…IT’S FREE!

Please RSVP so that we have everything prepped!  Leave a comment to order kits to make at home.

Thanks for stopping by & hope to see you soon!

We’ll be getting lots of practice using the Big Shot!  Project #2 will use the Curvy Keepsake Box Framelits.

I’m thinking some of those Jolly Rancher Watermelon candies inside…

Last project, I actually came up with myself…sort of.  I actually copied an idea from My Paper Pumpkin

I really liked the way the card slides into the pocket so I made this to go with the Watermelon theme:

IMG_6698These cute little boxes would be so cute on the table in front of everyone’s plates!  They’re filled with Hershey’s kisses or little cookies that are individually wrapped.

And, finally, my personal favorite.  The Pineapple Turkey Centerpiece!

Gifts for my downline

One of my downline is having surgery tomorrow and I knew just the thing to cheer her up!

I found something to fit into this adorable Curvy Keepsake Box.  This was the first time I’d used it and I’m in love!  Quick.  Simple.  Adorable.

Everyone is going to want one of these!!  I opened up my Feather Framelits & love them, too!

IMG_6537Here’s the whole gift set.  I usually don’t use DSP as wrapping paper, but I was using up the last of this batch & it’s so simple to tie everything together.

Thanks for checking in!
