Hot Pink!!

When you want BRIGHT, you can’t go wrong with Melon Mambo!!Create With Cheryl Hello You

Love the pink/black contrast!  And one of the things I like best about this card is the window sheet at the bottom.  That’s actually a stiff plastic piece with a design printed on it & it looks really pretty.  I also love how SIMPLE this card is to put together!

Come to my class this Saturday and make one for yourself!

Paper Pumpkin Steps Up!

I was so pleased with my Paper Pumpkin box this month!!  Stampin’ Up! has really stepped things up!

Createwithcheryl.me PP Happy Bag

The box contained 5 heavy bags to decorate as we liked.  The letters & stamps were included and I just added punches to the bottom.

The stamps (stripes & dots) were different…I think they were the polymer type.  They stick amazingly well to the clear block!!  No chance of them falling off!Createwithcheryl.me PP Smile Bag

Here’s my last (& favorite) one:

Don’t you love it?!  Got the hula girl idea from Sandy Hancock.

Here’s the punches I used:

Hair:  Round Tab XL

Head:  1″ circle

Arms:  1 1/4″ circle

Skirt:  1 3/8″ circle…fringed

Flowers:  Itty Bitty Shapes & 1/4″ circle from the owl punch

Hamilton Hale

I went a little crazy the last few days making a Hawaiian Hale (house, to you mainlanders…).  I’ve been thinking about doing this since these “design a houses” went on sale for just $2.39 on our CLEARANCE RACK.

Isn’t it just SOOOOO CUTE!!  I was planning on offering this as a class!  Silly me!!  The girls would have come after me with their scissors after a couple of hours!!  The hula dancer is held there with a wire and she moves like a bobblehead!  And the ukulele really plays…Lovely Hula Hands!  Ok, not really.  I can put one of those fake candles in there and it lights up through the vellum windows.

This is the back & sides of the house.  The DSP is Comfort Cafe.  The Hula Dancer & surfboards are a retired stamp set (thanks, Claudine!!!).  The palm tree was some retired Christmas paper that looked like wood, wrapped around a big highlighter.  Then I put a big blob of glue on top & stuck in leaves.

I think I need to make a bobblehead of my husband as a fire-dancer!!  Stay tuned…

Update:  My Oahu friend, Sue, saw my hut & made one herself!  Here it is!!

Lee Hale

She made it to totally match her house!  Christmas tree & doggie in the window!  LOVE IT!!!

Truckin' Along

I was asked to come up with a kid’s birthday card for my Card Buffet this Sunday.  I immediately thought of one of my favorite stamp sets:  Loads of Love!  That pickup truck is so darn cute!!  If you have the Loads of Love Accessories, you can fill your truck with presents, pumpkins, puppies, etc.

I still have spaces open in the class this Sunday!  RSVP if you’d like to attend!  And if you want a special card, just ask!  I love a challenge!
