RemARKable Ink Big Blog Hop Bloomin’ Love

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for January 2018. This month our theme is Valentines!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Cheryl Hamilton- Create With Cheryl or may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

Valentine`s Day is the second most popular day of the year for sending cards, second only to Christmas. There are approximately 1 billion Valentine`s Day cards exchanged every year in the U.S. alone.  I prefer handmade cards where you can see all the love that’s put into making them.

For my valentines, I’ve made a little bag.  Fill it with candy or make a little pull-out note like shown above.

Love this bright, fun paper that’s a FREE SALE-A-BRATON ITEM.  For every $50 you spend choose a FREE Sale-a-Bration item!  CLICK HERE to browse the catalog.

Decided to give candy to my team at our meeting yesterday instead of a note.  They already know I love them!

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently, you are on my blog – Cheryl Hamilton @ Create With Cheryl, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next on the list.

SSINK Halloween Fun Tags & Trimmings

Happy Halloween!!  Have you ever purchased a whole bundle ($53) just to get one stamp?!!  I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who’s done this…

That’s what happened when I saw this sentiment:  “It’s what’s INSIDE that counts”!  Had to have it!  Here’s the bundle called Tags & Trimmings:

I’m sure you’ll see more projects on my blog in the next couple of months where I use this bundle!

These little bags (Mini Treat Bag Thinlits) are one of my favorite things and they’re so cute & simple to make!!

Here’s a picture of a class I had recently!  The items for the pencil holders are retired, but the rest are current Stampin’ Up! products.  You can find all supplies at the bottom of the post.

Hope you had a fun time making a few things for Halloween!!  I sure did!  Head over to the SSINK Blog Page to see more Halloween Fun Ideas!

Today is my first official day as a team member & the theme today is Fourth of July (or red/white/blue).  I’m hosting a block party this weekend, so I came up with this little treat to give out.

SSINK 4th of Jul3

The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits were the perfect size for my Red Vines.  Yum!  I remember eating these at the movies when I was a kid.

SSINK 4th of July2

Wish you could see the sparkle on the little swirls where I’ve swiped it with Wink of Stella!

SSINK 4th of Jul3

This bag, especially with the doily, makes me think of the banners on Makawao Avenue here on Maui.  Most people probably don’t realize this, but we have lots of cowboys (Paniolos) in Hawaii and a big rodeo is held each year on July 4th on my island of Maui.

Being a part of this team is a big challenge for me, and it’s sure to keep me stampin’!  My favorite thing to do!!  I’d appreciate comments any time!  Please subscribe to my blog via email (on the right bar of this page) so that you don’t miss anything!

For more  4th of July ideas, be sure & check out the SSINKspiration Blog!

Blue Wonderland

Some of my stamping friends wanted help coming up with a card using this beautiful stamp set, Wonderland, and they wanted it in all blue.

Here’s what I came up with:

Blue Wonderland

  • Colors:  Soft Sky background, Bermuda Bay (3 5/8 X 4 7/8), Lost Lagoon (3 3/8 X 4 5/8), Whisper White (3 1/4 X 4 1/2), Silver strip (3 1/4 X 1/4)
  • Stamp Set:  Wonderland
  • Accessories:  Cute bow cut from Mini Treat Bag Framelits, random sequins

I’m glad they asked me for this idea.  Don’t think I would have done all blue, but I really like the results!

Thanks for stopping by…
