One of my patients, a member of the 100th Infantry Battalion, received the French Legion of Honor last week, France’s highest decoration!! What a fine man he is!! Wish I could share details about him, but you know, confidentiality & all that…
I dug through my Paper Pumpkin stuff & came up with the perfect card for him!
Isn’t this perfect?
The sentiment comes from Starburst Sayings. Here’s what it said on the inside:
A Big Thank You to all our military!!! We’re so proud & grateful to all of you for your many sacrifices!
I changed this one up a bit to use at my Thanksgiving table! Found the idea on Glenda Calkin’s blog. Then I added a button closure so that all the goodies won’t fall out!
I also made a few cards with the kit. Found this idea on Katy McGloin’s blog. Only thing I changed was to use my new Note Tag Punch.
I loved this card by Michelle Quinno, but didn’t have the Dots & Stripes Mask. So, guess where my polka dots came from?! There’s this leftover circle in the Chalk Talk Stamp Set! I knew I’d find a use for it!
Last Thursday my Paper Pumpkin Group got together & had lots of fun putting together the July kits! Here they are busy creating…We made lots of cards, gift cards, & boxes, & had lots leftover.
Here’s a cute idea Loretta came up with:
Then Yvette had the brilliant idea to curve the words (you can do this with the Photopolymer sets!). See how the “Thanks” is curved?!
Our Maui boxes apparently went on a wild goose chase & took forever to arrive! But the good news is that we all received 2 July Paper Pumpkin boxes! Then a day later, our August boxes arrived!! I asked everyone if they wanted to wait to month to meet again (silly me!). No way! We plan to get together with our August boxes next Thursday night again. I spent this morning putting mine together. They’re really cute just as they are!
It comes with regular sized cards, little gift cards, and these adorable envelopes!! And Strawberry Slush Sequins! It’s a perfect time to sign up for Paper Pumpkin! 50% off the next 2 months!
Here’s a few different ways you can make your May Paper Pumpkin kit:
This kit is very simple & cute! Comes with the banner stickers and a Happy Birthday & Father’s Day stamp. I added some Rich Razzelberry to jazz it up! Makes a great masculine card!
Here’s the next card…
The kit also contained these candy dots & some twine. And… a couple of small gift cards:
Simple & fun!
