Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspriation has a Color Challenge today! And I’m loving these colors!! Old Olive. Flirty Flamingo. Sahara Sand.
I haven’t made a Window Card in a while, & they’re one of my favorites! So I went for a Hawaiian Window Theme.
I’ll list the ingredients here:
Pop of Paradise
Hearth & Home Thinlits
Botanical Builder Framelits
Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Wink of Stella Gold
Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Please leave me a comment & let me know what you think of my card… What’s in your window this time of year? What’s actually in my window is lots of avocados & lilikoi!! Making more lilikoi jelly this week and lots of guacamole… lucky me!
Now head on over to the SSINK Page & see what the other girls have made using these gorgeous colors!
This week’s Stampin’ Royalty Challenge is to create a project using flowers! What fun! Where do I start? Well, I wanted to use some of my brand new stamps, so I found a cute little flower from the Swirly Bird set.
I think my favorite thing about this card is the colors!! Sweet Sugarplum, Tip Top Taupe & Mint Macaron.
Stampin’ Royalty: Stampin’ Royalty Challenge SR#332 is where I found the inspiration for my card.
Stamp Sets: Pop of Paradise, Swirly Bird, Build a Birthday
Colors/Paper: Card Base: Sweet Sugarplum (8 1/2 X 5 1/2), Whisper White (5 1/4 X 4 & 5 1/4 X 1 1/2), Tip Top Taupe (5 1/4 X 3/4)
Accessories: Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits, Butterflies Thinlits, Linen Thread, Metal Rimmed Pearls
I’ve only had time to make 2 cards since I opened my box of items from the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog. I’ve been working way too much & can’t wait until the weekend when I should have a little more time to play.
Don’t you love these new In Colors?!! This is Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum. I had a piece of Cherry Cobbler on my desk & added that. Wasn’t sure if it would work, but I like it.
You’ll be seeing a lot of this pineapple! It’s from a new stamp set called Pop of Paradise. The new ribbon comes in all the new In Colors & is called Ruched Ribbon. I had to look up ruched & it means “gathering or pleating”. So now we know. It’s kind of crinkly.
The Designer Series Paper is called Playful Palette & had beautiful colors & patterns!
Mark your calendars for the May Card Classes!
Saturday, May 28 at 2pm or Tuesday, May 31 at 3pm.
We’ll make 4 different cards with envelopes to match for $10 (or FREE with your $20 order placed that day).
