I really love the sentiment in this card (and the font!)! Today the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team is focusing on Valentine or LOVE Cards! Instead of the typical Valentine paper, I’ve used Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper for this card. I love the way Stampin’ Up! makes all these products that go together!! Washi Tape. Sprinkles Embellishments. Ink/Paper. And Designer Series Paper.
Here’s the Card Details:
Stamps: Bloomin’ Love, Falling for You
Ink: Watermelon Wonder & Crumb Cake
Paper: Whisper White (5 1/2 X 11, scored at 4 1/4), Tasty Treats Specialty DSP (1 1/4 X 5 1/2)
The Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team has a Technique Challenge that we hope you’ll try out: Bokeh!
Here’s what I came up with:
For this card, I just masked the outer edges of the Whisper White to concentrate the color on the middle strip. Then I just sponged it with Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, & Pear Pizzazz, and then finally sponged little dots with Craft White. Such a cool effect!!
Here’s a picture of a card & did a while back:
Give it a try and enter our challenge! And be sure & check out the other beautiful ideas from the SSINK Team.
Don’t you just love him?!! He looks just like my puppy, Swiffer! I colored him using the new Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils. So fun & simple to use! You can use Blender Pens or Aquapainters to blend the colors. There’s really not a wrong way to use them so it’s fun to play around with them to see the different results.
Stamps: Bella & Friends, Designer Tin of Cards
Ink: Stazon Black Ink
Paper: Smokey Slate (5 1/2 X 11), Sweet Sugarplum (3 X 5 1/4), Soft Sky (1 X 5 1/4), Whisper White

I needed a Retirement Card and as I thumbed through my new Falling In Love Designer Series Paper, I noticed many beautiful papers that could be used for any occasion. Don’t you just love the colors?!!
Originally I had planned to use the other side of the paper with the butterflies, but I changed my mind. Here’s a picture of the butterfly side.
Which paper do you like best? I keep going back & forth.

I had only pre-ordered the paper, but I see a stamp set called Falling For You, doilies, embellishments, and a beautiful embossing folder that are part of this set. Maybe the design team will show us some of those goodies!
Today we have a fun Card Sketch at Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration!
I knew just where to start! My new box with goodies from the new Occasions & Sale-a-Bration catalog!
This is a new stamp set called Lift Me Up, and there are framelits to go with it! And that pretty Designer Series Paper?! It’s called Carried Away, and it’s FREE with a $50 order placed during Sale-a-Bration (January 4 – March 31, 2017)!
As most of you know, it’s difficult to narrow down your order when you see a new catalog! You may want to consider this set!
I’m excited to show you two ideas for Project Life! Please bear with me because it’s difficult to capture these pages in photos. Trust me! They’re really fun, cute, & super quick to put together!!
The first is to give a Project Life Kit as a Christmas Gift to someone who might enjoy using it to collect their memories! Last night I started a kit for my nephew, Abe. He’s really into making cards using My Paper Pumpkin, and I think he’ll love Project Life!
Some of you will remember… Abe & I were featured in Stampin’ Success Magazine this past October. I printed off the article for the adjacent page.
Abe has been in Special Olympics for many, many years & even went to Greece to participate! He was King at his Senior Prom. He’s been on a real billboard. He’s been on the news for his Random Acts of Kindness that he does every year on his birthday. Basically, Abe’s AMAZING!
I’ll just mail Abe the album with some extra insert sheets, the Project Life Card Kit, some Project Life pens & some Washi Tape. He can do the rest!
The next thing I want to show you is what I’m putting together for my daughter, Jenny, who was married October 29th. She was lucky to have 2 showers: one in Texas, where she’s living and one on Maui, where she grew up. Both showers had a tea party theme and I asked people to bring their favorite recipes. So her Project Life Album will be a very special Recipe Book!
I used the front page for the invitation. This paper and tea kettle is now retired (unfortunately!) but I wanted to show you.
Here you can see how I put the recipe from her high school friend, Debbie next to their picture. I used a cake photo from the shower & stamp set & thinlits. The background papers are from the Love Story Project Life Kit. There’s also Washi Tape on there. Fun to put together & very simple. In fact, I think it looks a little better if you don’t embellish too much, or it will look “busy”.
Here you can see where I used one of the cards she received (the umbrella). The possibilities are endless!
Today the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team will be showcasing TAGS! I’m showing off a tag that I stuck on top of some cute Mason Jars that I sold at our Maui Big Shots! Craft Fair this last weekend. The sentiment is from Oh What Fun. I think I’ve used that set 100 times in the past 2 months… Along with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies!
You can see I just fussy cut the banner & popped it up using Dimensionals.
Here’s a picture of some of my team at the Craft Fair. I’m very blessed to have such a fun, hard-working, supportive team!!
