I love a good challenge, and Kylie has one for us at the Kylie’s International Blog Highlight May 2017, where the theme is “Masculine” card. I needed a graduation card & really like the message this card sends!
Here’s what I came up with:
I love the colors of this card! Soft Suede & Soft Sky, with a bit of Sahara Sand. And the textures!
These sets are retiring and I’ll miss them!! It’s always hard when Stampin’ Up! comes up with their RETIRING LIST!! But I have to admit, I love the new catalog that will be available in June!
I’m very excited to announce an upcoming class where we’ll be making a Seascape Framed Art piece! I love the art I’ve placed around my home using stamping mixed with photos, but haven’t found the time to do anything more for awhile. Then I saw this gorgeous framed art from StampingwithLisa.com and I’ve squeezed it into my schedule! Hope you can squeeze the time in to come to class!!
I’ll have 2 classes to choose from:
Saturday, February 18 at 2 pm or
Monday, February 20 (President’s Day) at 10 am
Cost is $20 or FREE with your $40 order placed that day and includes everything except the frame. I’ll have a couple of frames available for purchase for $15.
Class size is limited so RSVP soon to reserve your spot!
I’ll have a couple of different color combos to choose from. Bring your own tiny(1″) seashell if you have a special one! I brought this shell back from my daughter’s wedding last October that was in Charleston, SC. I’m sure Jenny & her husband will love having this memento of their special day!
Love this DSP!! It’s called Birthday Bouquet & you’ll find it in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.
Stamp Sets are Birthday Blooms & Enjoy the Little Things.
Here are a couple of Retirement Cards I was asked to make, just to give you some ideas…
Stamp Sets: An Open Heart & Wild About Flowers
Stamp Sets: The Open Sea & Wild About Flowers
If you’d ever like to order my cards, click on SHOP on the top of my blog! You can also request custom cards like my friend did with these Retirement Cards. She needed some for men & some for women and wanted them long to fit an office sized envelope.
It’s always a challenge to make “manly cards”. Last night I opened my new package of Moonlight DSP Stack (in the new catalog available June 2) and LOVED IT!! There are so many possibilities…the colors are beautiful and the patterns are modern and vintage-mixed. Here’s the first card I came up with:
The only DSP you can see is the stripe on the right side. Lost Lagoon (new In Color) is my new favorite color!! The ship from The Open Sea is embossed in white. This would make a nice birthday or Father’s Day card.
Stamps: The Open Sea
Colors: Crumb Cake (5 1/2 X 7 1/2), Lost Lagoon (3 X 5 1/4), Sahara Sand
