Aloha all,
Today is all about sunsets! That’s one thing we have here on Maui… gorgeous sunsets!
The SSINK Design Team will be showing you different sunsets we’ve sponged. This is a technique that’s really fun to do- every card turns out a little differently.
This is one of the cards featured in this month’s Stamp of the Month Club. Click on the Stamp of the Month Tab at the top of the post for more information or just email me.
I started by masking the bottom using a post-it note. Using Stampin’ Sponges, I applied ink by rubbing the sponge in a circular motion. Start off the page first. And remember to start light. You can always add more ink.
So Saffron, Crushed Curry, & a little bit of Flirty Flamingo.
I moved the post-it to the top, then sponged the water with Marina Mist & Soft Sky. Then I stamped the water image over that & topped it with Wink of Stella. The window Thinlits are called Hearth & Home & it’s retiring! So sad… I love that one!
Can’t wait to see what everyone else has to show us! CLICK HERE to see more sunsets from the SSINK Team!
