Covid-19 has affected everyone. Each person has a different story but our lives have all changed.
I’ve been thinking about ways I can help out. Here’s my simple list:
- Pray. My friend who’s Dad is in a nursing home with Covid-19. Another friend with cancer. And a neighbor who is alone. My kids who are a million miles away! Me- that I’ll keep an attitude of hope and thanksgiving.
- Send a card. Oh, I can do that!! Please let me know if you’d like a card from me!! I’d be very happy to send one your way!
- Call someone. On the telephone.
- Order take-out food from your favorite local restaurant. Those poor small businesses! I want them to be there when this is over!!
- Shop for neighbors. We all know a couple of people who are on their own. Pick up something for them if you’re going out to the store.
- Free Kits for Kids on Maui. If you know of any Maui kids that are bored stiff, I have a stack of Kits for Kids with craft supplies for card-making. FREE! Text me at (808) 283-1643 to get all the details. You’ll need to pick them up from my back porch in Haiku.
Back to my card. This sentiment comes from one of my favorite stamp sets, Beautiful Promenade. And it’s retiring!! You have to rush and get it now if you want it!!
