Aloha and welcome to our Island Style Stampers Blog Hop! We’re a small team with some big ideas, so we hope you’ll visit all of us and leave us some comments!
Our theme this month is Gratitude!
I have so much to be thankful for! One obvious thing that I’m still smiling about is that I joined my friend, Mary Green, to go on a Viking River Cruise on the Danube River last month. Wow! So spoiled!! I’ll never be the same!
After the cruise I stopped over at Mary’s in Redmond, Oregon for a few days and made my card using her stuff. That’s always fun! Here’s my card:
The background stamp is called Leaf Collection. This was fun & simple to use! It’s a huge stamp! I started out stamping it with Soft Sea Foam ink, then used my Sponge Daubers to add color here & there.
I found this nice sentiment from Simply Zinnia. I stamped it with Lost Lagoon ink, cut it out using Something Fancy Dies, then used Sponge Daubers to add color to the edges.
Here are the dimensions for this card:
-
Crumb Cake: 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4
-
Peach Pie: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 & strip 1/1/2 x 3 7/8
-
Basic White 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
-
Basic White: 5 1/4 X 4 (inside)
Before I go, I have to say I’m so grateful for my friend, Mary, and for all the dear friends I’ve made through stamping and creating cards!
Hope you enjoyed my project and got some inspiration to get you crafting today!
Keep on hopping to see more Gratitude ideas!
Next up is Malia, who always has something really fun to share with us!

This card is so great! I need to find my sponge daubers and use them for this. It’s such a nice effect.
