Patterned Paper Possibilities: Show Off Both Sides Fun Fold

Today is another Patterned Paper Possibilities mini blog hop with my daughter Malia! This time, we challenged ourselves to use the same fun fold, designed especially to show off both sides of our Designer Series Paper.

The fun part is that I have no idea what Malia made yet! We each chose our own paper and supplies, so I’m looking forward to seeing her card right along with you.

A Little Mother-Daughter Stamping

Malia and I have enjoyed paper crafting together for years. She lives in Houston and I’m here on Maui, so we don’t get to stamp together nearly as often as we’d like.

But whenever we do get together, we always have to set aside at least one day for stamping! Malia usually decides she wants to make a sampler—or some other project that takes us all day. By the time we’re finished, the room is a huge mess, but we each have a project we’re really happy with.

I’m glad we still get to share something we both enjoy, even when we’re miles apart.

Show Off Both Sides of Your Paper

For my card, I used Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper. This fold is perfect for patterned paper because you get to see the design on the front and the reverse side when the card is opened.

And this paper is just plain fun! I especially love all those familiar characters scattered across the paper.

For the sentiments and die-cut labels, I used the Sweet Words and Labels Bundle. On the front:

“I will love you until forever. And even after that.”

And inside:

“The best kind of days are the days spent together.”

That sentiment seems especially appropriate for this post!

🌺 Crafty Tip: Before cutting your Designer Series Paper, look at both sides and decide which portions you want visible. With a fold like this, the reverse side becomes part of the design instead of being hidden inside the card.
