Welcome to another Stamping with Friends Blog Hop! This time, we’re sharing projects featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Product of the Month.
I’m excited to share a fall card made with the beautiful Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper. This was a previous Product of the Month, but the good news is that it’s still available!
What makes this paper so special? It has a gorgeous shimmery background with delicate fall foliage. Sometimes a beautiful piece of Designer Series Paper is all you need to make a card feel extra special!
A Little Shimmer for Fall
I love the warm fall colors in this paper, so I paired it with Cajun Craze and Golden Glow cardstock.
The Cajun Craze background was embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. This folder is retired, but you could easily substitute another embossing folder from your collection.
I cut the beautiful leafy branch using the Nature’s Symphony Dies and a scrap of Golden Glow cardstock. The greeting, I’m so grateful, is from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set, punched out with the Three Banner Punch.
A few little butterflies from the 2026–2028 In Color embellishments were the perfect finishing touch!
Card Measurements
Here are the basic measurements if you’d like to make a card using this layout:
- Very Vanilla Cardstock: 5½” × 8½”, scored at 4¼” for the card base
- Cajun Craze Cardstock: 4¼” × 5½” for the embossed background
- Golden Glow Cardstock: 2¼” × 4″ for the mat
- Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP: 2″ × 3¾”
- Golden Glow scrap: For the leafy die-cut
- Very Vanilla scrap: For the greeting
Start by embossing the Cajun Craze cardstock and adhering it to the card base. Layer the Designer Series Paper onto the Golden Glow mat and attach it to the left side of your card.
Add the Golden Glow leafy die-cut, your stamped and punched greeting, and a few butterflies to finish it off.
It’s a simple layout that really lets the beautiful paper shine!
