Aloha Stampers!
I’ve gotten out of the habit of blogging with Christmas, family visiting, and being sick. But I’m back now with a really fun project to show you!! An ALPHABET BOOK for my grandkids! The first few pages are done and now I’m really inspired. A, B, C, & D were easy. The rest might be a stretch, but I’ll dig deep into my closet & see what I can find.
To make your own, start with one of our Basic Black Albums and order 6″ X 8″ page protectors. I’m using an old Stampin’ Up! album that came with 8″ x 8″ page protectors. Some of the products I’ll be using have retired, but I hope this will inspire you to make one of your own!
Here’s how it begins…
The Designer Series Paper is Design a Daydream, a HOST paper that you can get if your order is $150 or more. These retired letters are the best, but I’m happy to tell you that the new Mini Catalog (available Jan. 5th) has a new set of Alphabet Dies!! Page 61. They are tall and look really nice and it’s a set of letters and numbers.
Here’s my A PAGE! I just love the colors, and, yes, I bought the apple set just for this page! Apple Harvest. The DSP is Gingham Cottage (on sale and retiring soon!).
I stamped the apples on Watercolor Paper and colored them using Stampin’ Blends.
Here’s my B PAGE:
Remember this DSP? It was an old Sale-a-Bration paper. So pretty!! The stamp set is Perched in a Tree.
Thinking about getting this stamp set? Here’s another cute example:
