Aloha and welcome to our Island Style Stampers Blog Hop! We’re a small team with some big ideas, so we hope you’ll visit all of us and leave us some comments!
Our theme this month is Masking Technique!
Masking is the very first stamping technique I learned, and is still one of my favorites.
See how the seaweed is BEHIND the turtles? This is done by masking the turtles. To make a mask, I’ve stamped the turtle on a Post-It note, making sure I stamp it on the area that’s sticky. Then I cut out the image. Stamp the turtle on my card, cover it with the post it note turtle, then stamp right over it!
Watch my YOU TUBE VIDEO to see how this technique is done!
The white background was a little too white, so I added a little Pool Party ink to the card using Blending Brushes.
My card today is entered into the following challenge:

Hope you enjoyed my card and got some inspiration to get you crafting today!

Next up is Malia, who always has something pretty to share with us!
