Nature’s Prints with Vellum

Aloha Stampers!

Today’s I’ll be CASING a beautiful card made by my team member, Barb Salez.

At our last Island Style Stamper’s meeting, I asked Barb to show us some ways to use Lovely Layers Vellum (see supplies below).  She had lots of ideas for us and this was my favorite.

She embossed the card base with Fern 3D, cut out the wreath image then put Sun Prints DSP on the inside so that it would show through.  Then covered the hole with polka dot vellum, stamped on the vellum with Starry Sky ink, added the wreath, a ribbon, and Wink of Stella.  Gorgeous!!

Even the inside is just beautiful!

I wanted to CASE this card and started out wanting to copy it, but went a different direction.  Here’s my card:

Thanks, Barb, for getting me started!  To CASE is to COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING.  It’s a great way to get inspired to make a card.  Just change the colors or the stamp and use whatever supplies you already have.  Just be sure and give credit to the person who came up with the original idea.
