I’ve been playing around with the new ONLINE EXCLUSIVE set, Tropical Leaf, and decided to add it to my Paper Pumpkin card this month.
I started with a Polished Pink base and cut up the polka dot card from the kit for the front. Some of the extra pieces were big enough for me to punch out leaves using the Tropical Leaf Punch. Then I added a stripe of Gilded Leafing along the edge of the polka dots. That is so much fun to work with and the results are gorgeous!! Just put Stampin’ Seal or Tear & Tape in a line before dipping into the Gilded Leafing. Brush it off with a sponge and you get this!
Use the leftover white piece from the card you cut up for the inside.

One more. This card was so bright, I thought I’d go in a different direction for the next card. Let me know which style you like best!
This card base from the kit is so pretty! The example in the kit is very colorful, which I love. But for a more subtle look, I’ve taken the white vase and sponged it with Coastal Cabana ink before popping it up with dimensionals. Add the leaves from your kit, and a few embellishments I’ve saved from old Paper Pumpkin kits. I use the handy Standard Stamp Cases to store all my embellishments. See supply list at bottom of post to purchase these.
