Aloha & welcome to another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!
TIME FOR CAKE (AUGUST 2024 PAPER PUMPKIN)
Alternate project
This month’s projects are great just how they come! But I want to show you a different card idea!
For this card, I’ve used the back of the cake card from the kit, cut it down to 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, and glued it onto Night of Navy and Thick Basic White. This way you get 2 cards out of 1.
I love the pretty pink twine that was in our kit and those pretty candles!

I couldn’t stop with one card idea this month, because I wanted to create something with the birthday candle sections!
I’ve made a Gate Fold Card using 2 of the candle sections from the pull-out piece. Be sure and watch the video to see how I did this!

Which card do you like best? I can’t decide…
Both cards were really fun to make! I hope you enjoyed this month’s kit as much as I have!
I can’t wait to see what the others have come up with! To see more ideas, click on the list below:

Cheryl, I love your candle alternate. I actually thought about creating the same card. I’ll definitely be casing this one for future birthday cards.

Oh, thanks, Charmane! That’s funny that you almost made the same one!
