Spring Blog Hop!

I’m excited to participate in a blog hop today with the Borderline Buddies…this time from a border quite far away!  Maui!

The theme is SPRING!  That gets me thinking flowers & butterflies, which I noticed all around me as I took my walk this morning.

I’m lucky to live on Maui, where flowers bloom year-round!

I made a card using a unique fold I’ve been wanting to try out:

Isn’t this a fun fold?!  Found the directions on Linda Bauwin’s blog.  Check it out- she has some great videos!!  The stamp sets used are Flower Patch & Feel Goods and the DSP is Botanical Gardens DSP.  Colors are Pool Party & Hello Honey.

Had to make a little box to match my card:

This is the Curvy Keepsake Box…my favorite little candy box!  Stamped it with some flowers from Flower Patch then cut out a flower with Floral Frames Framelits, made a slit in the flower & slid it over the handle.  Thought it needed something else, so I added a clothespin & stuck on a llittle butterfly.  Here’s a close up so you can see the pearls:

The theme is “Anything Goes!!”

 

I love this project & I’m pretty sure my club members will love it too!  Club is this weekend- 2 dates to choose from:  Saturday, 2pm at my house in Haiku or Sunday, 1pm at Linda’s house in Makawao.  Guests always welcome!  You just need to make a $25 order, and the project is free.  Please RSVP.
