Thank you for joining the SSINK Team today as we’ll be showcasing Bags ‘N Tags. I always have a few decorated bags made up for last minute gift giving. I used that fun plaid paper from Merry Little Christmas Suite to make today’s project.
All I’ve been making is Christmas, so I wanted to do something different. Found the idea for this from Stampin’ Georgia, who had tons of great ideas! Thanks Georgia! I love the ease of stamping with Merry Little Labels & just punching out with the coordinating Everyday Label Punch!
I love the stamp with the deer that says “Let it snow”… but it doesn’t apply to me much here on Maui! So I cut up my stamp using my paper snips to make it more useful for me! Very freeing!!
Found the perfect sized Happy Birthday in the Ready to Pop set.
Before I leave, I need to show you that it does snow in Hawaii. Sometimes right on my mountain, Haleakala! So don’t tell me it doesn’t get cold here!
Who has hiked in Haleakala? Or gone up to the top to see the sunrise? Freezing cold, right?!!
Hope you got some inspiration to help with your gift packaging! For more great ideas, check out the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team Page!

I love that you have snow on Haleakala now, Cheryl. It truly IS freezing up there at sunrise, which my hubby and I recently witnessed – knees knocking and shivering, even in down coats, gloves and hats! Totally worth it though as it was an absolutely glorious sight to behold! Haleakala is a National Park and vehicle traffic is restricted, so anyone who visits Maui should make plans to ride a tour bus up to the top to see the sun rise.

PS I love the surgery you performed on this stamp to make it more useful to you! And your project is delightful.
