We have a fun Technique Challenge for you today for the SSINK Team… Ink on Embossing Folders!
This is my first time trying out this technique & I just love it!! It’s simple & fast with great results! Here’s my card:
Just used my brayer to spread some ink on the Brick Wall Embossing Folder! I really like the way it turned out & can’t wait to ink up my other Embossing Folders!
Today’s Tutorial:
- Stamps: Spooky Cat
- Inks: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
- Paper: Very Vanilla (4 1/4 X 11, score at 2 3/4 & 8 1/4) and inky embossed pieces (4 X 2 1/2- cut 2), Basic Black (2 5/8 X 4 1/8- cut 2), Spooky Night DSP
- Accessories: Cat Punch, Black Rhinestone Jewels
- Notes: The Spooky Night DSP has a page made to cut 3″ squares containing the tree with the moon behind it. I cut those squares 2 7/8 so that they’d fit onto the biggest scalloped square from Layering Squares Framelits.

Cute card Cheryl! I really like the way your brick wall opens in the middle. I want to see the other projects you make using this technique!

Thanks Cathy. That’s a simple technique that would be pretty with so many embossing folders. Going to try it with my club.
