The Right Words Fun Fold Card

Aloha Stampers!

Today I’m sharing a special Fun Fold card I created for one of my team members, Doreen, who recently moved to the mainland. Although I’m excited for her new adventure, I sure will miss her smiling face at our stamping gatherings!

This card features a simple Fun Fold design, and what makes it truly shine is the stunning Floral Delight Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it just bursting with sunshine and happy vibes?  The cheerful yellows and soft blues felt perfect for a sendoff card — warm, optimistic, and full of love.

I used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder for the background panels to add just a touch of delicate texture, which pairs so beautifully with the florals. And how about that sentiment? It’s from The Right Words stamp set, and it couldn’t be more fitting:
“Really don’t like that you’re leaving, but I hope you love where you’re going!”
It says exactly what my heart feels.

 

I also added a layered circle using the Everyday Details Dies to frame the sentiment, along with a few pastel embellishments.  Wishing you all the best, Doreen! You’ll always be a part of our Island Style Stampers ‘ohana.
