Tissue Box Cover with Video

What a fun event we had at my house on Saturday!!  Our Butterfly Getaway was 5 hours of projects, food, and getting together with old and new friends.

The projects were all focused on butterflies!  I’ll start with the tissue box.  This is one of my favorite Home Decor items to make and I hope you’ll give it a try after watching my video instructions!

The Designer Series Paper is Butterfly Bijou, which is sold out, but we have many beautiful papers you could use.  You probably have some you could use in your closet right now!

We used the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle throughout the day.  The stamp set is one big stamp containing 6 butterflies- easily cut out with the Brilliant Wings Dies if you want.

Everyone got a cute party favor.  This is the first time I’ve used the Gilded Leafing and it’s really fun to do and so gorgeous!!  It’s on page 33 of the Mini Catalog and you apply it either using Heat & Stick Powder or just Tear & Tape or Stampin’ Seal.  Tip: don’t use it on a windy day near an open window!!  I’ve tried this & you’ll see gold flying all over the room!!
