A Touch of Ink Card With Video Tutorial

Cheryl · February 4, 2021 · 4 Comments

Aloha Stampers!

Today I’ve used the Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink stamp set to create a Thank You card to share with you.  I’ve also done a video tutorial for this project which you can see on my YouTube Channel and on my Facebook Page.  You can get this beautiful set for FREE during Sale-A-Bration (until February 28th).

A Touch of Ink 2 Step Stamping Card

Have you heard of Two-Step Stamping?

Two-Step Stamping is when you use two or more coordinating stamps to create a complete image.  Use your stamp pad to fill in the color. Quick & simple, and very artsy!

A Touch of Ink Two-Step Stamping

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP526.  I went down the right side- scene, sparkle, and blue.

I started by gluing a piece of Flower & Field DSP (FREE Sale-A-Bration item) to a Thick Basic White card base. The images were stamped on Basic White cardstock using Memento Ink, and then filled in with Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana (Two-Step Stamping). The white piece was glued onto Flirty Flamingo at an angle.

The sentiment was stamped, punched out with the Double Oval Punch, and then popped up using Dimensionals. I blinged up the flower with Wink of Stella and added a few Basic Pearl Jewels.

Very pretty, Cheryl! I love the colors you selected. The pearls are the perfect accents, and really set off the flowers. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
