Aloha and welcome to another edition of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! Twenty of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends are joining me in this worldwide blog that stretches all the way from New Zealand to Hawaii across twelve different time zones.
Today we partner with another Blog Hop Member to CASE a different team member.
Ximena Morales, a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Germany, and I decided to CASE Chris Smith. We also are supposed to use the same colors (we chose Lost Lagoon). We also decided to make Christmas projects. Can’t wait to see what Ximena comes up with!!
We really liked the clean concept of this card by Chris:
Here’s my card using Lost Lagoon and a brand new set, So Very Merry, that is available in the Online Exclusives (not in any catalog). This set also has a Santa, bells, and a Gingerbread House. Be sure & check it out!
The angel was heat embossed on vellum, then colored on the backside using Stampin’ Blends. This is called a Stained Glass Technique- one of my favorites!
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! You may need to click on the post title to see them. Thank you for your support of my stamping business!)
I stamped the sentiment on Basic White cardstock before embossing it with Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
And here’s a little bird I put on the inside.

Well, I couldn’t stop there! Chris made another card that I just love!
She used the stitched die from Basic Borders Dies for the curves.
Here’s the Christmas/Lost Lagoon card I came up with:
I love the way the truck looks on this fancy Designer Series Paper! And… there’s a matching TRUCK PUNCH!! I’m so happy!
This set has all kinds of things to put in the back of the truck! presents, trees, flowers, and even a palm tree, surf board, inner tube!!

I hope this project has inspired you to do some stamping and send out some Happy Mail!

These are gorgeous cards! Did you use a punch to cut out the stained glass piece? Which one?

It was the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch… bundled with Circle Sayings stamp set.

I’m SO honored that the two of you chose to CAS(E) me and beyond that you used Online Exclusives.
