Aloha and welcome to another edition of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! Twenty of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends are joining me in this worldwide blog that stretches all the way from New Zealand to Hawaii across twelve different time zones.
Today our theme is: Sketch Challenge
If you’ve never tried to make a card starting with a sketch, you need to try it! You come up with something that’s completely your own! You’ll surprise yourself!
Here’s what we started with:
I started following the sketch exactly, and then found myself changing it up! That’s fine to do… it’s just a starting point to get you moving.
Here’s my card:
A simple masculine card. I’ve changed out the squares and instead, used my Inked & Tiled Punch. What do you think?
Here are the dimensions for this card:
- Misty Moonlight: 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4
- Boho Blue: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White: 5″ x 3 3/4″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″ (for inside) & scrap
- Let’s Go Fishing DSP (Designer Series Paper): 5″ x 1 1/2″ & scraps
I hope this project has inspired you to do some stamping and try using a sketch!
