AWOW Blog Hop – Sketch Challenge
Aloha and welcome to another edition of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! Twenty of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends are joining me in this worldwide blog that stretches all the way from New Zealand to Hawaii across twelve different time zones.
Today our theme is: Sketch Challenge!
Here’s my card:
I started out following the sketch pretty closely and liked the Designer Series Paper cut at an angle. But after that I pretty much did my own thing, adding a skinny layer of Flirty Flamingo and making my images work on a Deckled Rectangle Basic White piece. The little bow didn’t work for me, so I just added some bling! Always a good idea!
Since I had lots of this FREE Sale-a-Bration paper (Flight & Airy DSP- FREE with a $50 order) I added it to the inside with another Deckled Rectangle piece to write on.

Notice how the rug is stamped, but the image doesn’t go over the legs of the bassinette? That’s easily done using the MASKING TECHNIQUE!

- Misty Moonlight: 5 1/2″ x 11″, score at 4 1/4″
- Flirty Flamingo: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Flight & Airy DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (cut 2- one is for inside)
- Basic White: ~3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
