Aloha and welcome to another edition of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! Twenty of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends are joining me in this worldwide blog that stretches all the way from New Zealand to Hawaii across twelve different time zones.
Today our theme is: Sketch Challenge!
A sketch is a great way to get your creative juices flowing! Here’s our sketch for this month:
I’ve used brand new products from our new Annual Catalog to make my card:
So instead of using the 3 strips of paper on the left side, I let the Designer Series Paper do the work. This DSP is called Country Woods and I LOVE the wood grains and the colors! All supplies found at the bottom of my post.
This set is called Country Flowers. I enjoyed coloring the flowers using my Stampin’ Blends. I could have added some sparkle using Wink of Stella, and some embellishments, but decided it was pretty just as it is.
Here are the dimensions for this card:
- Early Espresso: 8 1/2 X 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4
- Pool Party: 5 3/8 X 4 1/8
- Basic White: 5 1/4 X 4 (inside)
- Country Woods DSP: 5 x 3 3/4 (white wood) & 5 3/8 x 2 1/4 (striped)
- Petal Pink & Smoky Slate scraps
I hope this project has inspired you to do some stamping!
