Aloha and welcome to another edition of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! Twenty of my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends are joining me in this worldwide blog that stretches all the way from New Zealand to Hawaii across twelve different time zones.
Today our theme is: Technique Challenge!
I’m showing a technique I found on Sharon Armstrong’s blog called Triple Time Stamping.
Here’s my card:
Triple Time Stamping is simply stamping on 3 layers of cardstock that are cut different sizes and placed to overlap each other. When you add a larger piece of cardstock under the layers, you’ll find you’ve created a beautiful card!
I’m using the Translucent Florals stamp set, which is a DistINKtive stamp set. That means that the set looks more realistic and has some depth to the images.
Did you know you can add color to your Rhinestone Basic Gems? I’ve colored mine using a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend marker!
Here are the dimensions for this Card:
- Thick Basic White: 5 1/2″ x 11″, score at 4 1/4″
- Basic Black: 4″ x 5 1/4″, 3″ x 3″, 3″ x 1 1/2″
- Basic White: 3 3/4″ x 5″, 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″, 2 3/4″ x 1 1/4″
I hope this project has inspired you to do some stamping!
