Brightly Gleaming Thank You Notecards for AWOW Blog Hop

Cheryl · December 9, 2020 · 18 Comments

Aloha and welcome to another Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop!  Today the theme is SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING OLD.  I’m excited to show you a project I’ve created where my cards & envelopes match the stamps!

Good Morning Magnolia Thank You Notecard Set

Something New

Have you seen those beautiful Thank You Stamps at the Post Office?!  They look like they’ve been embossed with gold!!  I could see some of our Stampin’ Up! colors there:  Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Pretty Peacock.  So I matched them up with Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (on SALE 50% OFF now!!) which also have gold foil accents.

Something Old

Good Morning Magnolia might be the prettiest stamp set in the Annual Catalog.  I used it on everything when it first came out but lately it’s been gathering dust on the shelf.

Using the Stamparatus, I’ve stamped “Thanks” down the side and moved the hinge as I go so that it’s even & uniform.  Then I’ve added a strip of DSP (5″ x 1″), a strip of Gold Foil (5″ x 1/2″) and that’s it!  A beautiful set of Thank You Notecards!

I made it into a gift set using a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box and decorating the top.

The stamp holder was made using Nested Labels Dies.

You’re a girl of my own heart… those stamps are why I had to have that DSP last year so I was so thrilled that it carried over this year!!! Love the cards and the packaging! Thanks for the inspiration.
