Aloha Stampers!
Today I want to show you another Fault Line Card, using Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper. I think you’ll fall in love with this paper, just like I have!
This paper makes you feel like you’re stepping into an old-world art gallery. I love the moody landscapes and dramatic designs.
For this technique, you tear two pieces of paper at the same time and then layer them together.
Piece #1: Start with a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″ to create the card base.
Piece #2: Garden Green Two-Tone Cardstock 4 1/4″ x 3″
Piece #3: Beautiful Gallery DSP 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Piece #4: Basic Beige 4 1/4″ x 5 7/16″
Instructions:
-
Fold your card base. Line up Piece #2 with the small front flap of the card base. Tear both the front flap of the card base and the patterned paper, diagonally, at the same time.
-
Glue patterned paper to the cardstock pieces so the it shows beneath the cardstock piece ~1/4″. Do this for the top and for the bottom.
-
Place Piece #3 under the small front flap, and place the bottom so that it lines up with the bottom of your inside card. Glue the card base to the patterned paper.
-
Use Piece #4 as a backing for your card front.
