Here’s the SSINK Card Sketch 46 for June. I love how these sketches make me come up with my own design, instead of just searching Pinterest (although I do love Pinterest!).
I could have stamped some splotches on the upper left, but I decided to try out my new Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. Absolutely LOVE these!!
Here’s what I came up with:
Isn’t that cutout fun!! And I could use the little diamond shapes for a shaker card! The ribbon is Fresh Fig Finely Woven Ribbon (1/2″) and it’s really soft & easy to work with.
Here’s a tip for stamping clear images when you’re using tiny fonts: I tried stamping the sentiment using my Fresh Fig Ink Pad, but it was very “juicy” and kept filling in the l’s and o’s. Then I tried just using the brush side of my Fresh Fig marker and it worked perfectly!
You’ll find all the supplies at the bottom of this post. Who else loves these thinlits dies?!! This will be one of the cards we’ll be making for the July In Color Club where the starring color will be…FRESH FIG! The club members will be receiving everything Fresh Fig in July… Cardstock, Ink Pad, refill, ribbon, marker, and the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack! Plus bows & glitter shapes just for signing up!
Would you like to join us? There’s still time! It’s a 5 month club where we focus on 1 In Color each month. For $40/month, you’ll have ALL THE IN COLOR SUPPLIES by October! If you can’t attend the club meetings, I’ll make up the cards for you & send them over with your In Color items for the month.
Now go to the SSINK Card Challenge 46 to see other samples. And just for fun, please enter our challenge! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Thanks for stopping by today!
