Aloha Stampers!
Welcome to another Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!
Today our theme is It’s a Girl Thing! This card reminds me of my dear friend, Alanna. She occasionally orders stamp supplies from me- she loves to make stacks of cards and give them as gifts. When I deliver them to her, she’s always made a special dish or bought some delicious pastries which we enjoy out on her deck. Cloth napkins and pretty placemats- a beautiful teapot… all these things make me want to stay longer and enjoy our friendship. I’m very blessed to have girlfriends like her.
Seaside View
This beautiful stamp set will be retiring at the end of this month. It has some relaxing, tropical images that are perfect for coloring.
For this card, I tried something a little different. I started with watercolor paper that I spritzed with water. I dipped a C Block onto my ink pad (Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo) then stamped onto the wet paper. When it was completely dry, I stamped the image using Memento Ink. I really like how it turned out!
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure and keep hopping to see more pretty girly cards!
Next up is my friend, Deb Naylor. She is full of great ideas, so don’t miss seeing what she’s come up with!
If you’d like to make this card at home, all products are listed below on the Supply List.
