Aloha Stampers!
I had some visitors at my home last week who wanted to buy a few of my handmade cards. Instead, I had a better idea—I suggested they make their own!
We sat down at my craft table and had such a fun time making cards together. Even my cat decided to supervise!

The Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper made this a perfect project for someone who hasn’t done much cardmaking before. The beautiful scenes on the paper do most of the work for you.
Everyone chose their own piece of Designer Series Paper, so even though we started with the same basic idea, every card turned out different. That’s one of my favorite things about cardmaking!

We used the Sunset Coast Bundle to add a few simple details. The birds, lighthouse, sailboat, and seashells were just enough to personalize each scene without covering up that gorgeous paper.
And the best part? Seeing someone hold up a card they made themselves with a big smile! There’s something pretty special about realizing, I made that!

This would be such an easy project to try with friends who are new to stamping. Put out some scenic Designer Series Paper, a few greetings and die cuts, and let everyone choose what they like. There’s no need to make the cards exactly alike.
What made our cardmaking time even more special was that we had taken a sunset cruise out of Lahaina the night before. After watching those beautiful Maui colors over the ocean together, Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper seemed like the perfect choice for our cards!

🌺 Crafty Tip: When your Designer Series Paper has a beautiful scene, let the paper do the work! A simple greeting and a couple of die cuts may be all you need for a beautiful card.
What do you notice first—the beautiful Scenic Coast paper or the little details added to each scene?
Sharing Aloha one card at a time!
