Make a Beautiful Card Without Stamping!
Sometimes the prettiest cards don’t need a single stamped image! If you’ve ever wanted to create a handmade card without pulling out your stamps and ink pads, this design is a wonderful place to start.
Using only die-cut foliage from the Fern & Floral Dies, I created a lush arrangement with layers of Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Granny Apple Green cardstock. The different shades of green add depth and make the card feel fresh and natural.
The card begins with a Thick Basic White card base, layered with Pecan Pie cardstock and another layer of Basic White. Before adding the die cuts, I softly blended Granny Apple Green ink onto the background with a blending brush to create a subtle glow behind the foliage. This simple step adds so much dimension!
After arranging and gluing the ferns in place, I finished the design with a planter made from Country Woods Designer Series Paper, punched with a Rounded Rectangle Punch. The realistic woodgrain pattern gives the card a warm, rustic touch and ties everything together.

One of my favorite things about this design is how versatile it is. Add a sentiment later for a birthday, thank you, thinking of you, or sympathy card—or leave it blank and let the recipient enjoy the beautiful botanical design.
I hope this project inspires you to look at your dies in a whole new way. You don’t always need stamped images to create something beautiful!
