March Paper Pumpkin: Beyond the Horizon

This month’s kit contains supplies for 9 cards & envelopes featuring beautiful scenery!  Mountains, grass & leaves, water- I had so much fun playing around with this kit!

Coordinating colors: Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pale Papaya

I want to show you an alternative idea for this month’s kit.

I’ve been wanting to make a Slimline Card to match the Slimline Envelopes in the Mini Catalog!

Here’s what I came up with:

I just love the way this turned out!!

The elements from the paper pumpkin kit really stepped it up!

Here’s what I added from my own stash of paper & ink:

• Thick Basic White cardstock 8 1/2″ x 7 1/2″, scored at 3 3/4″
• 8 1/4″x 3 1/2″ Basic White for first layer
• Pale Papaya cardstock 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
• Inks: Pale Papaya, Bumblebee, Old Olive
• Slimline Envelopes

I can’t wait to make more Slimline Cards!!  Hope you make some, too, now that you have the measurements!
