April Paper Pumpkin: Change is Beautiful
This month’s kit contains supplies for 9 cards & envelopes featuring beautiful butterflies, flowers, and moon & stars. I had so much fun playing around with this kit!
Coordinating colors: Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Evening Evergreen, Granny Apple Green, & Melon Mambo
I want to show you an alternative idea for this month’s kit:
6 of the cards in this month’s kit are a Fun Fold called a Z Fold. I just added a strip on the bottom to make it even better! I’ve cut Basic Black cardstock 10 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ and scored it at 5″ and 7 1/2″.
Everything I needed was included in this kit except for the black strip. I also used some leftover bling from last month’s kit for the center of the flowers. Oh, I did use a little more: The inside sentiment was punched out using Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch and then brushed with Melon Mambo ink using Sponge Daubers.
I’ve made this card with my daughter, Malia, in mind. She’ll be graduating from University of Texas in Austin Law School next month. I just couldn’t be prouder of her! Stay tuned for lots of pictures!!
Hope you’ve enjoyed my idea and give it a try!
