I’m excited to show you two ideas for Project Life! Please bear with me because it’s difficult to capture these pages in photos. Trust me! They’re really fun, cute, & super quick to put together!!
The first is to give a Project Life Kit as a Christmas Gift to someone who might enjoy using it to collect their memories! Last night I started a kit for my nephew, Abe. He’s really into making cards using My Paper Pumpkin, and I think he’ll love Project Life!
Some of you will remember… Abe & I were featured in Stampin’ Success Magazine this past October. I printed off the article for the adjacent page.
Abe has been in Special Olympics for many, many years & even went to Greece to participate! He was King at his Senior Prom. He’s been on a real billboard. He’s been on the news for his Random Acts of Kindness that he does every year on his birthday. Basically, Abe’s AMAZING!
I’ll just mail Abe the album with some extra insert sheets, the Project Life Card Kit, some Project Life pens & some Washi Tape. He can do the rest!
The next thing I want to show you is what I’m putting together for my daughter, Jenny, who was married October 29th. She was lucky to have 2 showers: one in Texas, where she’s living and one on Maui, where she grew up. Both showers had a tea party theme and I asked people to bring their favorite recipes. So her Project Life Album will be a very special Recipe Book!
I used the front page for the invitation. This paper and tea kettle is now retired (unfortunately!) but I wanted to show you.
Here you can see how I put the recipe from her high school friend, Debbie next to their picture. I used a cake photo from the shower & stamp set & thinlits. The background papers are from the Love Story Project Life Kit. There’s also Washi Tape on there. Fun to put together & very simple. In fact, I think it looks a little better if you don’t embellish too much, or it will look “busy”.
Here you can see where I used one of the cards she received (the umbrella). The possibilities are endless!
Hope you’re inspired to purchase a kit! Now go check out what the other Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration Team has put together for Project Life!
Beautiful and so very special for both of them. Don’t know how you find the time to do it all!
Thanks Marylou. I’m excited to give them their gifts. And time is such a problem!! No balance for me right now. Lucky I love what I do!
